I think they did the cartoon thing to pass the NRTA censorship, for example the scenes where the gang beating people up. They're either changed to cartoon (Jin Jie's case) or completely edited (Zhi Liao's bro case).

I agree with you waiting until it's finished. Not only because cannot wait for new episode cliffhanger, but also since you just finished watching Kim Min Jae in a drama so you still remember his character there. Usually if I want to watch the next drama with the same actor/actress I'll wait and watch others until I kinda forget about the character.
