goblin.. the other guy in ep 1 who was pulled into a painting when hong's dad and him were the only ones left
oh he did? I thought he also release Chun Gi with his supernatural power when she was held by the head painter. But he looks creepy, he reminds me of Goblin's villain, same look.
Does anyone know if yang myung (gong myungs character) was the crown prince at the beginning of the show or is…
Yang Myung is not the crown prince but the third son of the emperor. The one who passed out after waking up the demon is the second prince Joo Hyang who later is coveting the throne from the crown prince.
The CG is......holy freaking ohmygod what was this???? Mountain spirit Ho Ryeong is sooooooooo dashing lol! I…
I was a bit surprised that Ho Ryeong actually could subdue Ma Wang so easily, considering he supposed to be one of the three (well, two) powerful gods and she is just a mountain spirit. But the blue-eyed silver-haired tiger is my fave CGI so far!
Answering your question: "Do you pay much attention to the OST lyrics?" I used to not pay attention at all to any lyrics whether the drama or song is amazing or not. Not until I had to decipher some OST songs sang by Liu Yu Ning as I was co-writing an UFG article on him. It was a challenging experience because not only I don't understand the language, but there are double meaning for historical drama OSTs as well as several English translations for just one song! But once you understand the meaning of it, it's a treasured experience by itself! Your understanding of the songs mentioned in your article is commendable, me knowing how hard it is to interpret one. Since then, I always try to find the meaning of a particular OST of a drama as it accompanies me while writing the recap.
LMAO!!! You even named your cast with Korean names!!! So hilarious. But... I don't know... when I read the synopsis I feel like I'm reading a synopsis of a Thai lakorn... LOL. The 'Tragedy' genre and the 'sad romance' tag stop me though! So if I was to watch this remade I would just wait until it's finish to know what the ending would be. Can you spoil me the ending, please? ;D As I don't watch the original, to answer your question: "Which is better "Original" or "Korean Fanmade"?" Uhm... I think I will prefer your Korean Fanmade instead. Cos the original is 102 episodes, man! But... can you make it the usual 16 episodes instead of 20???
Up to ep26 and finding this drama satisfyingly entertaining, and so dropped in here to read your entertaining…
Hahaha... I know, right? Their names is kinda confusing, especially the guys: Jin Yu, Jing Li, Jin Li... they sound similar to each other. I kept having to look up again who is who when writing the article. Yeah, I know it's kinda a mix modern and historical as it's not really historical using the facts from the period, but it's entertaining cos it's atypical for the usual costume Cdramas. Yeah the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation is a cliche. In reality, is no longer deemed effective and CPR chest compression only can save life in layman setting (not medical facilities)
This is a very interesting reading. I don't see any nerdy part in this article, but it's okay to be nerdy. Thank you for introducing us to the drama writers, especially from other countries than South Korea, cos I only knew about Kim Eun Sook. Drama writers rarely get applause, but if a drama's plot gone bad people will criticize them. Not knowing that many times people with power want them to change the story line...
Uhm... this phrase... "And you don’t have to take our word for it! Someone else already wrote an article about Watching Ultimate Note as a Stand-Alone Drama." So do the readers have to take my word that the dramas can be watched separately? LOL. Thanks for mentioning my article, by the way. You should tell me ahead so I can beat Sassy queen to be the first to comment! PS. I can't believe I didn't see that pretty blue stained-glass window in Ultimate Note! Too busy checking out the boys, I guess...
