Lmao seems like u have been day dreaming abt this for quite a while now haha. Well yes it was us! What's the use…
It's good that you "had to force Anushka to start writing..." lol... in my experience, the longer an article draft is pending the less motivation we have to finish it ;D
It's a fun read! Since I read the Korean and Japanese articles of Harry Potter 'what if' remake I have been hoping for some time if anyone would write a Chinese version of it... so it was you, lol! What a star-studded cast! But knowing it will be a Chinese production, to pay these famous actors there will be TONS of PPL per MINUTE: all wands will be sponsored. Hogwarts students will have sponsored facial-mask-time-outs while hanging out in their dorms. Butterbeer (drink) will be mixed with Chinese beer. Honeydukes (sweet shop) will sell Chinese candies, too. Of course the candy names will be Chinese-style: Chocolate Dragon in Fire Wrapper, Immortal Jelly Beans, Blood-Spitting Lollipop, to name a few. Hedwig (owl) will have sponsored delivery service tag on its foot. And lastly... Hagrid will show you the shampoo brand he uses to wash his hair!!!
Wahahaha.. yeah I think I will do that after the Heroes.hahahaha.. thank you for supporting it and the first one…
LOL, probably by the time Heroes finally aired, he would have sung 100+ OSTs already!!!. His OSTs themselves can be made to an UFG article Part 1 (^_-)
Hahaha I hunted down this article cos I want to comment on it since the first time saw yours in the article spreadsheet: your future article must be an Ultra Fan Guide for Liu Yu Ning ❤️
What is 'intimacy' in the tag and who the heck added it there??? When I clicked on the tag, 2 other dramas with the same tag are racy and have also 'sexual content' in it, lmao. Knowing it's a Cdrama, that's not gonna happen ;D
IMO FL is too cringey to watch so we dropped this.
There is logical explanation about the FL's 'cringiness'. First, she is from a remote countryside area who is not exposed of the sophisticated life as depicted in the capital. Moreover, she is raised by only males in her family: grandfather, father, and brother. Finally, they are shunned by people surround them, since as coroners they touch dead people. So FL is more of a naive person instead of cringey, and doesn't have any chance to practice social skills neither acts appropriately as a girl as per custom.
Hmm... since you mentioned BOF... I got something to say, lol! But first things first: congrats on your first article, what an insightful one! BOF is the third drama I watched since I was born in dramaland. BOF is purposely set up for the SLS and the Kdrama did a darned good job to plot this comparing to the other HDY versions. Even only in the first episode when the drama introduces us to the F4 characters we should have already fell for the Second ML. The FL Jan Di meets and falls for the angelic SML Ji Hoo first before meeting ML Joon Pyo. Us the audience is given a delicious fanservice of dramatic slo-mo scene of Ji Hoo putting his white shirt on compares to the pampering of the spoiled Joon Pyo served by myriad of servants. Even their hairstyle difference already persuades viewers to choose sides ;D. Luckily as Asian romantic dramas evolve we see more and more kindhearted and gentle MLs. But interestingly, the evolution also makes more and more sly and pushy SMLs. A fascinating phenomena in which you or other writer probably want to take that as an idea to write as an article ;D I myself tend to watch romantic dramas in which the second leads, both SML and SFL, don't have romantic interest at all towards the main leads. At least I don't have to skip/FF scenes and enjoy the particular dramas more. Your take on Female Lead Agency is very interesting, and thanks for your keen observation as I am usually are not aware neither bothered by the lack of the agency in characters (having watched The Legends and TMOPB).
