Yep, ES is kinda like his moral compass. Slowly but surely he will restraint himself - hopefully. He's not stupid - unlike SJ. Secretary Choi does think & reflect.

I think HJ is the one that got beaten up. In the preview, he wants to tell ES something but I m not sure if he manages to do that. This is where I think you are right about MR using the "Mommy" card to ward off her crimes. Maybe we are just brainstorming here - this way, she can use that to shut HJ up, probably citing that ES will be crushed by this discovery. 🤷‍♀️

HJ (at least to me) has always come across as a bit fidgety, twitchy person - for an experienced lawyer. This "habit" surfaced when he met MR and laid all his cards on the table. 🤦‍♀️

Secretary Choi is a thug in a suit. Agree, he does outshine the rest of the young men. I m not sure after the way he beat up MR's ex - if there are any redeeming traits left for the writers to work on. But I hope they do. I think he has a certain charisma about him.
