This episode has revealed quite a bit of things. Manager Na's daughter met ES - the box reveal. Sohyeon breaking her silence about being scared of Yeong Hun. The meeting between the ex and his daughter HR. Secretary Choi is conflicted between ES & MR. SJ is starting to be curious about Yeong Hun & his father - once he starts digging, it's a ticking bomb.

SJ has made his bed, now he should lie on it - with HR. It's obvious with HJ gone, the writers are creating some redeeming plot for SJ. 😏

We are almost 1/2 way through... so I don't like the idea that now there's a new plot for SJ. Some of us thought that he had an agenda in the beginning. But nah, he wants Cheongma and is willing to marry HR for it. He has had many opportunities to walk away and reconnect with ES but he didn't. With HJ gone, the writers are moving the narration to justify SJ's character. What now? Is he gonna be part of ES's revenge journey? 🙄🙄🙄

I agree that SJ meant well when he offered to help ES. But doesn't he know that HR is going to go ballistic if he does? Keeping his distance would be the smarter move.
Also Yeong Hun is not that stupid, is he? To embrace MR wholeheartedly without the slightest suspicion? They are playing each other, assuming they have the upper hand. MR thinks she got him - hook, line & sinker...and the CEO thinking that by reciprocating; she will be his ally.
It would be easier for MR to unalive her ex than to send him to a remote mental facility. No loose ends.
This is what I think, when HR discovers the truth, she will work with MR to hide it. Jeong Seon's safety will come into play when this happens bc MR has already shown her claws, and HR wants to protect her own status & is desperate to marry SJ.

Her blackmail will start with soft persuasion, seduction & influence. Then have his head on a platter.

We are all done with SJ. I was commenting earlier that he's like the 2nd lead. He has not done anything worth mentioning. Thanks to HR & his mother, his character has some speaking parts. 😂
HR's dad is making a beeline towards her. Sweet indeed.

I also wonder why MR hasn't thought of searching through HJ's office or his home for the evidence.
I think secretary Choi has a soft spot for ES.

I must say that MR is good at gaslighting & weaponizing every situation. I wonder when the CEO turned & hugged her, did he do it bc he was cornered? (I think she tried to start the blackmail process).

SJ should die instead. First, marry the fake heiress; then find out how she has been abusing his mother. Finally, suffer & die of regret. Poetic justice.😂

In the Korean culture dreaming of a deceased person is more like a spirit visit/guidance/comfort etc. So it might mean he's really dead (we hope not) or in Kdrama style, it's a foretelling he shall return to help ES. Either way, this pushes ES into fighting back on her own.

@TooEmotional Yep. I was glad her "prison self" mocked her. A wake up CALL indeed. She went into HJ's office and grieved for him. But she wasn't quick enough to reflect on what he had told her prior to his death and search for clues. Now in preview all his stuff is taken/confiscated. Nonetheless I think ES will find a small clue to start her revenge journey.

Maybe she's pretending in front of Choi. While she got things wrapped up behind the scenes?

Agree. ES is still in the dark on many matters. Other than SJ, secretary Choi would be a good ally - altho I can't get over how brutal he is. Regardless, ES needs him bc as you all are saying, MR will be enlisting her lawyer to fill HJ's position. If ES poses a problem, her retrial is going to go south. I can only think of her ex ruining her smug composure.

She was struggling to get free from her "young self". It did look like she was shaking off something imaginary. Then she took off that glove & the other and put them in her pocket. But I could be wrong.😂

We need him to stir the pot - or else things are too easy for MR.

MR is moving fast. Get HR married to secure her position as the future head of Cheongma (with SJ doing the real work). Then she has to blackmail the CEO. Also keep tabs on her ex. But the person she hates most is Jeong Seon. In the preview there is a mention about putting someone in the mental hospital. Could be Sohyeon, Jeong Seon or her ex?

ES "met" her inmate self in the dream. A wake up call. I believe this time she'll be all out for revenge especially after HJ's murder. I hope SJ will not get in her way. MR was just fishing for info if HJ had told ES anything before his death.
