can someone enlighten about the characters of royal family? it's hell confusing.. who is wei, li, he? who are…
I am also a bit confused , but from what I gather and if I understand correctly:
Chanceller Wei + Grand Tutor Li - Helped to quell the initial rebellion, but Wei went rouge and put a puppet emperor on the throne.
Wei Xuan is Chanceller Wei's legitimate son. Li is the eldest grandson of Grand Tutor Li.
General He is Chanceller Wei's subordinate and thus on surface has to show that he obeys Wei. But he is not really agreeing with Chanceller Wei.
The Sui "brothers" are from a rival kingdom. Qimin is the elder prince and the demented one we saw is the younger prince and the crown prince of their kingdom. Qimin though the elder prince is not the crown prince because he is adopted. The Sui queen is his aunt, so the 2 princes are actually cousins. Qimin's dad was the crown prince of Yin who died in the rebellion. His mum is the Sui queen's sister. Qimin is actually the rightful emperor to the Yin throne if things had not gone wrong during the rebellion.
And yes, all the villains are HOT! So even if we are confused, just watch on for the hotness. LOL
Excited to see our Weiwei in a new project. But....Sighs...Edward Guo. 🤐😅I only ask that he please take…
This director does not have a very good reputation. 😅 I still watch his dramas for his beautiful cinematography. BUT, his endings are either open ended or BE / SEs where the CP cannot be together. There were melons that he did not treat some of his MLs well and on top of that will give more screen time to his actors from his own agency.
I know our Weiwei will look super good in his drama, but I worry for him. So my only wish is that GJM take care of our Weiwei and give him back to us well and healthy. ❤️💎💜
Hi ChunTian! Was wondering how come didn’t see you here🤩.
The way FCY blurts out "...because you are handsome." HAhahaha...cute. Or when she says even if she had cheeky thoughts about him, nothing can be done because he is too beat up to do anything. HAHAHAhaha... yes girl, we all have cheeky thoughts about YZ. 😏😜🤪
The comedic elements are on point. Very cute, like what Mr Sun was thinking about.

Hi hi Megumi. Happy to see you here too! How have you been?
I am trying so hard not to binge. But ARGH...the storyline and pacing is good! I can't resist! When the 1 episode days come upon us, it's gonna be hard!!!
I love how much FCY wants to take care of her man, sincerely, no agenda, just want to take care of him. Awww....🤗I think it must be a nice feeling for YZ to be taken care of too. 🤭 I am so seated for this drama, this CP. 🥰🤌
I am only 4 episodes in and I am LOVING it! ZLH is soooooo handsome as always in costume. TXW has one of the biggest, roundest pair of doe eyes I have ever seen. Such a doll! Beautiful CP.
It must feel so warm and fuzzy for Yan Zheng that a girl wants to take care of him, sincerely from the bottom of her heart, no agenda. 🥹🥰 Definitely different from all the previous noble brats he got introduced to who probably expect this and that from him. 🤔😬 Fan Chang Yu must be such a breath of fresh air. It tickles me every time Fan Chang Yu says she will slaughter more pigs to take care of Yan Zheng. 🐷🥓🤭💖
Deng Wei will be officially announced as the Asia Pacific Brand Ambassador for Chinese skincare brand Winona on Monday, 2 March 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with a focus on promoting the brand’s sunscreen range.🥰❤️🩷💜💎

Regarding how pale LYX is, here:He started filming immediately after discharge from hospital. He had lost a lot…
Oppps...this is a late reply. 🤪
Based on the Reuters, LYX got beaten up for real by a co-star in the last scene of the drama he was completing before TTEOTM. 🤨 No, the other guy was not method acting, you don't wear rings and then beat someone up for real when filming a drama. 😅 And beat LYX up so bad the guy was in hospital for 1 week, with stitches, face bruises and not able to eat, on a drip.
TTEOTM team waited for LYX and filmed other scenes first. He started filming upon discharge, no rest. I think it should all be touched up now, but when they first released the drama, the scene where LSS was pretending to be one of the dancers on the boat and he was watching her from the deck, at certain angles, one can see a faint scar on the side of his lip and faint bruises. All covered up by that thick layer of makeup. Sighs... poor baby.

Proper happy ending in the novel.

Mr Sun's imagination of who Fan Chang Yu might be is HILARIOUS. 🐷
And in his mind, Yan Zheng suffered so much. 😂😂😝
Loving this drama. Fingers crossed that they give us a HE.
