Totally agree. I am loving this drama. Things get resolved quickly, no silly over the top drawn out reactions when secrets are exposed. FL clever and rational and ML so cheeky and charming. I replay nearly all their interactions. Such a cute couple. So glad no third annoying wheel/love rival ... just hope it stays that way. Impatiently waiting for next episodes. Will have to rely on google translate until eng sub available:-(
I saw on airing schedule that all episodes will be available for VIP on WeTV on 10th September if true I would pay to subscribe but I think it’s only for Chinese viewers? Hope someone will be kind enough to provide spoilers if that is the case.

It is worth watching despite the ending which made me want to pull my hair out. Great characters/chemistry, great pace with good mix of comedy, romance and seriousness (except last few episodes). Plus FL and ML are both intelligent and can kick ass. Was hooked from first episode whilst I struggled to maintain interest in Dance of Sky Empire.

Yes.....one died While defending the border as a soldier in the Han army and the other at the end of the drama when she attacked the prince but accidentally died when his personal guard stopped her. It was so senseless! I haven’t finished watching all episodes. Skimmed through last few episodes. Was so good up to episode 14 and couldn’t wait for next episodes till I found out ML and FL didn’t end up together ....was no longer motivated to continue and only now starting to watch the rest of the episodes but will stop before it gets tragic. Reality is depressing as it is right now .

Watched episode 7 to 14 raw, didn’t understand a word of it but was still so enjoyable watching the interaction between ML and FL (great chemistry) and the friendship between the 5 of them. ML so cheeky and protective of FL. The way he looks at her.....sigh......So impatient for Eng subs and next episodes.

Pretty certain it will be a happy ending based on the opening scene in episode 1. FL falls into a deep sleep probably from using up her 12 chances and wakes up after a year. ML is telling the children their story on the last day of her slumber

That punch from Prince Qi in episode 6 was so satisfying.... lol I love the little extra clip at the end of each episode during the ending credits

Thank you and lucky you! Eng sub on YouTube only up to episode 6:-( so good and didn’t have to fast forward any scenes. I am in love with the ML character lol Plot does remind me of Under the Power and it’s one of my favourite dramas but this drama has better kissing scenes:-)

Watched first 2 episodes and I am hooked. Despite the numerous tropes already and the many incidents where ML should have know she was a female the chemistry between the 2 leads is great, they work well together intellectually and physically. Love the fact the FL is intelligent and can fight. Romance, comedy, mystery, fight scenes and comradeship.....all I need is a happy ending and I’m a happy camper. Here’s hoping drama doesn’t start out on a high but does a face plant in last couple of episodes like The Heiress.

IKR! At least there is closure with a sad ending. Prefer one of the lead to die than go their separate ways! What happened to overcoming adversity to live happily together? That trailer for episode 24 was a total kill joy... will stop watching once it gets angsty and make it my own ending

Ah crap! What a major disappointment! Was so excited for remaining episodes but the ending has ruined it. Thinking I prefer one of the main lead dead than this stupid ending. Drama started off so good with a light tone then downhill towards last couple of episodes. I feel so cheated ... all that time invested in their relationship. Least I have The Sleeping Princess ... that has a happy ending!

Same here but the ML grew on me as the drama progressed The FL , humour and pace of the drama sucked me in:-)

I really recommend The Heiress.... the FL is amazing. First time a female actually looks like a man but still pretty when a woman. She is super intelligent and knows how to fight. Like you I cant stand weak FL. ML finds out she is a FL early on so it was great they didn’t drag it out. Lots of humour and great chemistry between leads as well. Beginning of first episode the FL was a little over the top for me but so glad I stuck it out after first episode. Also recommend Under The Power.

Watched up to episode 14 and drama is still going strong....so good! The ML is so clever, decisive, calm and boy can he fight but when with FL he is putty in her hands and can be reduced to childish jealousy and tricks which is fun to watch. They make a great power couple... their interaction and banter are so enjoyable to watch including the fight scene in episode 14 when FL and ML are fighting the assassins together. I am so impressed with the FL and the actress. She can pull off being a man but also pretty as a woman. It would be such a shame/disappointment if the ending is anything but a happy ending because so far the drama is very funny awith sprinkles of seriousness. I don’t mind if the plot turns serious that create angst and misunderstandings so long as it’s done at the right time for the right reason that contribute to the development of the characters/relationships and there is resolution/closure that makes sense. Not used as episode fillers just to tick the box of typical c drama tropes and then rush the ending which is so often the case. Can’t wait for next Thursday for not only this drama but also The Sleepless Princess. Why oh why are my 2 favourite dramas airing at the same time? :-(

Thanks for sharing the link. In episode 20 trailer it looks like someone FL knows from the academy betrays her.? ML kills him. Just a guess cause I don’t understand Chinese . I dropped The Song of Glory because it started off so interesting with kick ass FL but then everyone you root for dies:-(

Below trailers suggest heartache ahead. There is one version with eng sub but I can’t seem to find it now. From other YouTube trailers it looks like FL jumps off a cliff and lose her memory around episode 20/21 and I think later blames ML for the fall of Han army (?)..... which I don’t believe ML would ever do...... but there is a scene where FL stabs ML:-(

Yes the jail scene was hilarious :-) and the scene where ML body guard Zin Ting fly kicks SML’s sister when she ran towards ML disguised as a man! And when ML hugged his 2 body guards to see if he had same reaction as when he is near FL.....I died....so many funny scenes but without being corny or overdone

One of the ML personal body guard (Xin Ting) is really cute! And the doctor they rescued from prison is so cheeky.
