the moment you realize you should have learned mandarin...i know...i'm with you...
Salut voisine, je suis française 😉. Je serai en vacances la semaine prochaine en Toscane 🤗😊 I've also studied Latin, Spanish and russian.
My tip if you start learning mandarin is to take a chinese teacher at least for the first year (I had a lesson per week at a Confucius institute). Because if you start learning with the wrong method, it will be difficult afterwards. And it's important to learn the characters since the beginning and not only the pinyng. You can do it 🤗

ollie just has a severe case of baby face or maybe because he is 20 which is basically a baby adult lol he actually…
I'm sure that if he looks like this at 20, he looked very young when he was a teenager. I don't judge him. It's just not what si expected for this role. He did well.

I just have the first level hsk 1 so it's like 300 characters only 😅. But our teacher was Chinese and she had a very good method to learn and understand the ideogram. I find mandarin language fascinating. And in general I find learning new languages so interesting. Which languages have you been studying?

I've studied mandarin for 1 year, it takes time to be able to understand. Probably at least 5 years. But I had to pause my learning last year because it was very demanding. If you don't train everyday you're going nowhere.
But when I feel better I plan to continue my studying of mandarin. The language and the ideograms are so interesting.

I’ve found it helps if you compare the two worlds both couples are set in. Qing Lang and Chang Yang are the…
@ellieamoury I feel exactly the same. Like a story connected with nature and the other one completely superficial and disconnected.

I love the first half but I'm stuck at episode 26. It's boring and I'm not rooting for FL. I don't want to drop it but I can't manage to continue 😅

Perhaps the Director wanted to give the audience a bit of rest after episode 13 emotionally speaking.

I’m about to watch ep5 on rewatch - I’m getting a lot from doing this. (I skip over much of the film studio…
I also see so much more details and clues about a lot of things. I bet even watching it 3 or 4 times we could discover more details every time.

It's the first time I've seen him. He really looks 16. It was unsettling. But he acted very well.

Finished. I don't know what to think about this drama. On one hand I enjoyed it, on the other end I wasn't as enthusiastic as people here. Although the actors were talented, the fact that Ollie looks like a teenager often threw me out of the story. The vibe also was quite dark sometimes. It's a nice drama but nothing exceptional in my opinion.

Did someone watched again the episodes? The scene after the outro in episode 8 is quite heavy knowing what happens…
Qing Tian saying to his brother than if his ex died, he won't keep on living either. And then Qing Lang tells him that he hopes he would never do something like that. And QT replies that he's joking...

I'm sorry but he was deeply depressed. He could not switch and be all happy and in love in one night. Depression…
Him being eaten by a wild animal doesn't mean he didn't plan to end his life after finding the flower. He wouldn't have rushed alone to do so. Maybe he attempted something and the animal came after his death or the animal came just before. The director kept the scene and what happened blurry because they probably want watchers to read into the scene and interpret it as they want. That's what I think happened. But everyone can think differently. The way he cried "He killed me 3 years ago and repeating it (and many other clues) makes me think he was suicidal.
