Honestly, SYM is too soft-hearted here. She even said she didn't really want to hurt him, like 😩 (eps. 17). If it were me, I would've killed him 10 times, run away to the edge of the world, hide in the deepest cave, and never come back, because of everything NH did in the original script. Remember, SYM was pregnant when she was shot by his soldiers' arrows. The heartache? Ugh, that must be unbearable, so much so she decided to just "let go."
For those who is annoyed with her prejudice, just remember the og script. And remember as well that this is 6 months prior to "the bloody marriage." Though NH is sincere now, he still can change due to the forced plot 🥶

I think her father started to be convinced. His expression after hearing NH's words shows he understands, a bit helpless, yet still worry for his daughter. Gotta say the actor really delivered the feeling beautifully.
