I read this novel in my high school. I'm so happy it is made into drama, Actually, the novel is not very good. This drama adds many details and plots which make the story more rich and complex. Yang Yang and Zhao Lusi are the perfect choice for the characters. I'm so happy to see so many international drama lovers like this drama. As a Chinese ancient drama lover for many years, the best dramas (made based on novel) after 2015 in my heart are: 1- Nirvana in Fire , 2 - Eternal Love, 3 - Ashes of Love, 4 - The Romance of Tiger and Rose, 5 - Story of Yanxi Palace, 6 - Ancient Love Poetry.
