No bro was too pushy and took advantage her lowest
He just offered himself as an alternative to a guy that was constantly leaving her hanging. He didn't force himself on her or take advantage of her on any way. What are you talking about?
I kept giving the show more chances because I wanted to see if they could fix the problems you discussed. Ended up dropping it midway in ep 8. Zero chemistry. The couple made no sense at all.
To those who keep saying soga isn’t handsome or sakae should be with mizuki are really weird. I find soga very…
Except Mizuki has changed to becoming the man that Sakae wanted him to be. People do settle down eventually. The divorcee seems riskier to me and more likely to cause a breakup.
Indeed, there is an apocalyptic theme presented as an extremely silly drama, but it's still fun to watch. However,…
is there really a difference between humans manipulating other humans and AI doing the manipulating. No, not really. Emotions, ethics, and morality aren't the limits you assume them to be. Humans are usually able to convince themselves that their behavior is acceptable or necessary. It usually comes down to self interest.
It's not BL but it is super gay, allegorically and otherwise. ("Freedom to love" maps onto gay rights obviously.) And as a farce, it's laugh out loud funny.
"will they/ Won't they flirtations of the two main romantic protagonists" — That's an entirely misleading description of the show. The two characters were friends from beginning to end. They sometimes engaged in playful banter but never flirted with one another.
I dunno the source material so everything I observe is just from the drama so far alone, but since the pov character…
Guy hasn't really done anything wrong. You criticized Guy for his timing in wanting to profess his love but you didn't criticize the girl who actually did it. Double standard? Backing off from Whan (sp?) was the right thing for Guy to do at that point. No one wants to be a third wheel especially when lovelorn. Also, if my friend started being paternalistic and overprotective like Whan, I'd be resentful like Guy. And then Whan's violation of privacy. Guy clearly told Whan he preferred having a separate group of friends. Nothing wrong with that. If Whan wants to be included, he should ask to be invited. In ep 2, he's just meddling. Guy seems to know what he's doing by trusting Tiw and being unafraid to be vulnerable with him.
As a timid and insecure person, I completely feel Shun Yu. When someone who i think is beyond my league approaches…
Also there's the off-screen mother and president of the company you work for. That would be enough to intimidate most men from accepting Shang Zhou as a partner. The baggage is too much. Run!
If by "exact same spot" you mean still living together in that apartment, then yes. But there was a dramatic change…
I disagree with your description of the last episode. Yoh listens to Man when she tells him to stop overcomplicaring his feelings for Mizuki, and he starts then to listen better to what Mizuki was saying about what he wanted. Mizuki remains jealous, but he becomes less controlling. There's no storming off at the end. Yoh will always have trying expressing his feelings but it was a big deal when he said he liked the dom/sub thing they have going on. Also Yoh expressing his desires to Mizuki through his manga was another huge development.
What's your love language? (Mizuki and Yoh finally cut to the chase.)
Yoh: If you want to know how to make me yours, you must read my manga. That's the only way I can communicate honestly, in spite of myself. Mizuki: Sokka Yoh: What about you? How do you communicate your feelings and needs? Mizuki: Sex and bullying. I will give it to you so hard that even a dumb submissive like you will understand the depth of my feelings. Also you must act like my wifey as if we were in the 1950s. Yoh: Ryokai!
I tried to like this one. I thought the actors’ chemistry was amazing, but there doesn’t feel like there was…
If by "exact same spot" you mean still living together in that apartment, then yes. But there was a dramatic change since the beginning. The smiles at the end spoke volumes. They both had developed a better understanding of the other's feelings and they were finally able to tell the other what they wanted/needed to hear. Seems easy, but it's a problem in any relationship. People are stubborn and insecure and communication is hard when stakes are high.
Yoh: If you want to know how to make me yours, you must read my manga. That's the only way I can communicate honestly, in spite of myself.
Mizuki: Sokka
Yoh: What about you? How do you communicate your feelings and needs?
Mizuki: Sex and bullying. I will give it to you so hard that even a dumb submissive like you will understand the depth of my feelings. Also you must act like my wifey as if we were in the 1950s.
Yoh: Ryokai!
