Random thought I got while rewatching the entire series for the third time ๐ Taking into account that Jihyun…
You have to take into account that Jun Pyo didn't actually understand the words he was using. He was misusing them. Ji Hyun kept calling Jun Pyo foolish because that's what he was.
Why should Jae Won stoop to their level? He really couldn't care less about them now. Better to part civilly.…
Thank you. I love the examples you selected to show the subtle yet powerful changes in Jae Won's behavior.
Also, I agree with what you said about Jae Won previously judging himself unfairly and beating himself up for not living up to some impossible standard. We all need self-esteem, self-assurance, self-love (and supportive companions) to keep those scary and hurtful tendencies in check.

About the comment by @MollySF: Jae Won's character arc was not about him realizing he needed to tell people about themselves or to try to shame or reform them. We should remember what he said to Yoon Won about his growth. He's no longer trying to please or be liked by everybody and he's only concerned about people who are important to him. That's his character arc.
I've seen quite a few complaints about a "redemption arc" so you're not alone. However, I think redemption or forgiveness is not the right word to describe what happened to them at the end.
Anyway, Tae Hyung already knows and admitted to Jae Won that he is a shitty person. So Jae Won telling him he was shitty wouldn't serve any purpose. We can hope that Tae Hyung will reflect on himself and try to change when he realizes Jae Won has moved on and no longer cares about him.
The biggest thing that bothered me is the redemption arc eunji and taehyung got. Both of them are bad people.…
Why should Jae Won stoop to their level? He really couldn't care less about them now. Better to part civilly. And he knows they will never ever become good people.
Oh This is news for me , this iconic scene was supposedly not in the movie ๐ฒhttps://twitter.com/jyungbinbin/status/1650475480175505408?s=46&t=ao9UFd-Flrou8lZ9MI4kyQ
That's Ji Hyun's bed ๐ค Pillowcase and sheets appear in ep 7 when he's looking at photos from their trip
In ep 4, the roommate asked Ji Hyun whether he had sex with Ae Ri and he used "MT" to refer to a motel (according to Viki's English translation). Does anyone know whether "MT" is based on "motel"? Or is it a play on "membership training"? Just curious.
To my knowledge JH was talking with his boss about meeting Ae Ri for dinner like she had suggested earlier that…
Good summary! I'm with you on what you described as the "more metaphysical." I seriously doubt Ji Hyun had any intention of meeting Ae Ri. He hadn't agreed to that and he was still trying to avoid her "advances". Also, he was carrying his drawing kit, indicating his plan was to go to his favorite drawing spot on the river. He was already obsessed with Jae Won at this point, so maybe he thought Jae Won would find him. (Manifesting!)
Jae Won was stalking at that point, I think, and that made Ji Hyun happy.
I didn't think he meant that literally. My interpretation: it was a way of saying he'd decided to pursue Jae Won. It was the start of Ji Hyun becoming progressively more bold and explicit about his desires and intentions. Country mouse not as afraid as before.

The stalking is the more likely explanation. Jae Won said he observed the ex-girlfriend's confrontation with Ji Hyun's boss. That means he was secretly watching Ji Hyun work. I'm pretty sure he did it more than once.

This was a realistic and righteous ending.
