You're saying they "leaked" deleted scenes to mislead and distract the audience? Holy red herring, Batman! Why…
Oh, I see. What was the point of cutting a movie version that tells a different story (or that may have a different ending)? 🤔 Such a weird release strategy. Seems the production team is having a hard time now trying to manage our expectations. Thanks for the warning.
I had the same reaction. I'm guessing the character and his relationship with Ji Hyun were set up in a deleted scene. I've read a few theories about the character, but there's not enough information for us to really know. Director made a bad call.
I love the series, but let us remember, NEVER chase a man. If that man is ignoring you, he is not for you lol.
This is good advice for Eun Ji, and it's too bad for her that she didn't let go after Jae Won repeatedly rejected her and continued to show interest in someone else.
It is kinda weird to say but Jihyun had a major glow up after the incident. He is more confident, looks way more…
And here I've been thinking Jae Won's resting bitch face is not a bad look. I hate that he's sad and tormented. But he's still hella sexy with dead eyes and pouty lips. Unpopular opinion, I guess.
The Teh and Jai storyline seemed very realistic to me. Acting/Directing can be hard to relate to. But this show allows you to understand it as a super intense type of 'emotion work'. When managing/creating feelings is the nature of the work, professional boundaries can get blurry and it's not hard to lose perspective. I loved the way Jai talked about his "directing style" unapologetically, and he just expected everyone to know that it was nothing more than that.
Reminded me of people thinking the cute, super friendly Trader Joe's cashier is flirting when they've just been trained to quickly build a relationship and make you feel something.
It may be me but why do I find Jae Won’s friend do be such an asshole. I feel for Jae Won. He is in such pain.…
Jealous, resentful, arrogant, and obsessive. Self-hating too. He and the ex-girlfriend are two sides of the same coin. I wonder, has he always been this way? Probably not. Kinda hoping we get some backstory on him and their relationship.
Ya'll gettin too worked up over the bullshit teachers. They are not the focus of this LOL. The only way to get…
A good show can work at multiple levels. You can appreciate it as lighthearted entertainment and, at the same time, discover that it raises serious and important social issues. Unfortunately, a few people get so serious and outraged that they can't enjoy anything. I'm assuming your comment is directed to them.
you will understand why, and bro his backstory is actually so sad (idk much i just know that he is blamed for…
Have you never heard of the enemies-to-lovers trope? Characters who are NOT FRIENDS tease for amusement and attention while both deny they like one another. The purpose is to build sexual tension. At worst, Tae Hyun and his friend have annoyed Da Yeol. Da Yeol is dense and gullible, and Tae Hyun finds that charming. No one has been harmed in this story. No need to exaggerate and get so outraged. Why complain about it so much? How can you enjoy the show like this? Is this a hate-watch for you?

Da Yeol knocked one kid to the floor and groped the other, but he can do no wrong in your eyes apparently.
You seem to be missing the important difference between lying and attempting to mislead. Black and white thinking can do that. I don't deny that Tae Hyun took advantage of the nurse's first impression of the situation, but he didn't have to lie to do that. In the infirmary scene and later on, the writers seemed to take care not to have Tae Hyun and Won Kyeong utter any untrue statements. Tae Hyun clearly has a sense of ethics, and it's not naive.

Actually, Tae Hyun said to the nurse: "I refused him, but he suddenly came at me." Technically that is what happened and no lies were told. Tae Hyun and Won Kyeong did not welcome or invite Da Yeol's touching.
After Da Yeol knocked Won Kyeong to the floor, Won Keyong said "You just came out of nowhere!" and Da Yeol had to say "I'm sorry." When Da Yeol started groping Tae Hyun, Tae Hyun said "Hey, where do you think you're touching me? What are you doing?" (This was Tae Hyun's refusal.)
Of course, there's more to the story that speaks to Da Yeol's intent, but the bottom line is that Da Yeol got into trouble because he's awkward and kinda brutish. He should have kept apologizing for his actions, but instead he got angry when the nurse arrived. Seems Da Yeol's response at that point onward was motivated largely by embarrassment and homophobia.
The staff at this school are terrible. They are easily manipulated because they don't actually care about truth They only want to maintain order and the appearance of harmony. Students don't even have to lie; if they are just selective with facts, the staff are too willing to jump to wrong conclusions. BTW, is this a cultural thing or just a crutch that kdrama and manhua writers tend to rely on?
