Totally random question but how would you describe Adachi and Kurosawa's personalities?
In the heart-to-heart talk over dinner in ep 10, Kurosawa starts to reveal himself to Adachi. He truly fears being disliked or unappreciated by others, and that's why he's always been so focused on trying to please.
Kurosawa wasn't really a nice guy but I think he became kinder after he fell for Adachi. Originally he didn't…
Kurosawa was like most people, thinking that pleasing people with power or status is the way to get ahead. First, Kurosawa had to realize how meaningless and unrewarding his approach to life was. (Thanks for the life lesson, lecherous lady president!) Only then, when he was at rock bottom, could he recognize Adachi's worth. (I love that episode!)

They really do make a difference. Lots of nuance and small details others miss. For example, only today did I get a very good understanding of the product idea Adachi submitted.
introvert is only one side of a person, there is no such a thing
That was a crazy anti-intellectualist, anti-academic rant, as well as a mischaracterization of the science. Not surprised you'd resort to making a "straw man" argument. Pathetic.
introvert is only one side of a person, there is no such a thing
Huh? What do you mean by "no such thing"? I think the point being made was that Adachi has become less shy and anxious and more confident, while still being an introvert. (It's too bad dictionaries have formalized the common misunderstanding of introversion. Ugh.)
The Philippines is another good example. Colonization changed the culture and repressed sexual identity, and LGBTQ rights are denied today. Some of the shows in this year's Pinoy 'BL' explosion are explicitly promoting LGBTQ acceptance and political empowerment. They responded to the popularity of Thai BL, but their shows are uniquely Pinoy, and I consider them LGBTQ dramas rather than BL.
Overgeneralizing much? Can't agree with your characterization of this genre, but glad you're enjoying the show.
That is much clearer. Thanks.
Yes, this isn't homophobic like BL has been. This show doesn't completely deny the importance of sexual identity or the reality of homophobia either. It could be a lot more positive towards gay rights, however. So far, it hasn't allowed either main character to acknowledge, explore, or express his own gay/bisexual identity. In this way, it's like other BL fantasies that cater to straight women.
Rokkaku you no filter no clue to read the mood little bastard lmao Fujisaki and Kurosawa out here hyping Adachi's…
This is my favorite comment of the day!!! Good thing Kurosawa was there to take some of the edge off. Gotta respect the way Adachi accepted everyone's input. In that situation, Rokkaku's honest feedback was what he needed more than polite responses.
Episode 6 was a perfect ending for an excellent Filipino (Pinoy) boys' love (BL) series. Mando's finally free.…
Thank you for your dedication and all you do for this community. Means a lot that you also support shows that are smaller, edgier, and less mainstream than this one. I always look forward to your fair-minded reviews.
When Kelly says "Baby Jesus" in English, why translate that to "Infant Jesus"? Haha
Being an introvert/extrovert has nothing to do with bravery or having fears. BOTH introverts AND extroverts can be outgoing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiet:_The_Power_of_Introverts_in_a_World_That_Can't_Stop_Talking#Distinguishing_introversion
