She told them the king was alive so they were able to get Kim Hwan to stole the king's seal and deliver it to the king.

This drama has so much heart. I just finished my second watch and obviously they are really great actors but I think the best thing about this drama is the script. It's so well written! Both the story arcs and the dialogues are great. I mean how many arguments is in there where you can totally see why both sides make total sense from their respective points of view?
The epilogue made me super happy like the thing I need the most was to see these character get their happy ending.

Real and heartfelt. I only wish I knew what years the events took place.

Aviis is really pretty but I'm worried about her weight here. I really liked this movie. It was so different from any Taiwanese movies I've watched before. I don't know how to describe it though.

Well almost everything was riveting, I would have taken a little less of the Queen Dowager and Kim Hwan.

Although I didn't like the ending this drama was absolutely riveting from start to finish.

It was filmed in Busan for sure, it was written in the credits. Also I guess it helped to get a 88 vibe because you can't get that in the heart of Seoul.

It was way too violent, there was way too many things that don't make any sense but overall it was very good with endearing characters and really good suspense.

I watched in December 2019 and I started learning Mandarin in February 2020 because of it! (Well maybe the BTS are a reason too, hehe)

The first time I watched it I cried like a baby, the second time I watched it with my husband and I saw him cry for the second time in my life. This drama has a inexplicable synergy that has much to do with luck I think. It's not perfect but it sucks you right in.

Good movie but really depressing.

I'm just starting to watch it but I love how everyone looks so young! I mean I knew it was 15 years ago but I didn't think they all would look so young (the actors I know at least)
