What??? OMG I would love so much for TSY to be in that xianxia drama. Which manager was that? I know there was a TSY's staff who kept on making mess for her on weibo. It was such a topic back then bc that staff kept on making problems for TSY. Her fans had complained a lot about that staff but she was TSY old friend?colleague?. That's so frustrating if the script did not even reach TSY. How many dramas did the manager rejected on her own without consulting TSY. I hope she gets better staffs who are truly concern for her.

Tbh, that drama is such a big project, it is an s+ budget. Everyone would die to be a part of the production. Looking back, the fl casted now has the baby cheek quality like songyun has. She looks tender.

Liu Haoran is still popular though. He is on the respected actor list though he focused more on filming movie. He is dating Zhou Dongyu now, she is like female liu haoran who focused on filming movie too. But you can see Liu Haoran consistent taste there, he seemed to be into petite older woman lol. TSY was young and inexperience back then, she also dont have enough fans, while Liu Haoran was a rising star with great potential during With You drama. He already has large fandom during that time. TSY was probably traumatized by that experience that's why she never caught up in any dating rumours after that. While i see so many young stars nowadays embroiled in dating rumours after rumours like no big deal.

THIS. I wish TSY just take ZLY's route where she takes a popular costume drama role, and be done with the popularity. ZLY is my favourite 85's actress and TSY 90's actress. What ZLY did was the best case scenario where she gained large fandom and big script resources.

But I also get it that TSY wants to make her own path. She is not backed up by big company behind her like ZLY. She only has her own studio with her personal team. But back then post 2020, i think TSY do have many script offers, especially the most rumoured xianxia drama with XZ. The story kinda goes like ZLY huaqiangu, but it is an s+ project with large budget. TSY's name comes up so many times regarding the drama, it goes on for almost a year or months i think. It is rumoured to have XZ and TSY in a xianxia drama. The story is about master and his student. It is kinda like huaqiangu and the novel is very popular. The script arrived at TSY, and the production actually wanted her i think based on the rumours, but TSY didnt accept it (maybe due to schedule). I sometimes wish TSY will do this type of xianxia, wuxia, period drama because i love costume drama😭. I hope she accepts one or two costume after ABAY finished filming.

This is only my thought, but I think Seven gave up a lot of drama even when paired with top traffic actors. Post 2020, i definitely saw a lot of rumours where she was rumoured to be partnered with top liuliang in a drama. I know it's just a rumour, but it comes out so many times, that i think they did contacted TSY, but she rejected (maybe due to schedule or idk). It was the ZhuYan drama with XZ. I've seen that rumour countless times, i think it was going to be true if TSY accepted it.

I've been wondering about this, but why is billing so important? Is it the pay? The name that comes first? The main attractor? Why is it so important? Like why does it matter who comes first? Cause i saw some actors/actresses even dropped drama because they are not the first billing or equal billing.

I think this drama is related to YuZheng more or less. The staffs, screenwriter, actors, and director involved in this drama are mostly involved in YuZheng's past productions.

Maybe YuZheng is the investor idk. As for TSY, I think i've seen rumours about Yuzheng wanted her to act in his drama since 2021. It kept on coming and goes. TSY and Xukai in a drama felt like has been in the rumour mill since forever.

Yeah, we can have different opinions on how we view the story. There's no fixed explanation except if the writer clarify it themselves><. HanTing actually do a background check on his acquaintances, that's how he he kept track on the men ZD had been with. He also did a background check on Jixing and he is very satisfied with her. Especially when he knows Jixing had only been in love once, the guy he saw JX with at the theater, shao yichen. He got jealous later imo when he realized Jixing's company XingChen comes from JiXing and YiChen🤣.

This is just my opinion, but imo ZD and HT's relationship is more like friends with benefit. Your translation is on ZengDi's pov who thought HT likes her. But imo, HT tolerated ZD. He dont have any special feelings for ZD except that they did the deed. ZD thought Hanting saw Jixing like how he saw ZD, but she was wrong bc HT actually truly likes Jixing. I dont think HT ever has any feeling for ZD. They were just friends with benefits.

Idk if it is count, at first Han Ting dont seem to have a type, but the way he described JiXing seems do make it seems like he is into cute and small type. Plus, at the end when they had been married for several years, someone that looks like Jixing entered the company as secretary, everyone praised the girl bc she has Jixing temperament and figure. But the girl likes HanTing and attempted to seduce him with low cut dress, HT directly dismissed the secretary and said she is nowhere like Jixing. Maybe he just like Jixing but the way Hanting describe Jixing as cute, petite, and pure makes me think he prefers that type than someone like ZengDi.

Han Ting rather prefer cute small girl than sexy domineering i think. There was a scene in the novel, when Han Ting bought JiXing a dress, he said he prefers white and pink blouse than black sexy dress. Plus, i think he likes that JiXing is a smart, bubbly, curious and energetic youth. Han Ting in the novel is a calculative and genius CEO investor. Songyun is very good at grasping different role characteristics, i'm waiting how will she portray Jixing.

Ji xing's characteristics in the novel are supposed to be cute, innocent, hard-headed, smart, naive, talkative, small, petite, obedient when she found the reasons to. Han Ting likes cute, pure, and smart girl i think, that's why he fall for ji xing. He acts as a mentor for Ji xing when she built her company. He found her cute and funny.

Traffic stars are just another name of liuliang. But liuliangs are usually top of the top of traffic stars. They have large fandoms. Traffic stars are mostly idols though, but there are actors/actresses who are traffic stars too, and they are liuliangs.

I think it depends on which chinese celebrities. Traffic stars love the exposure though. They lived off on the hype. That's why you found so many cps in c-entertainment. But according to JBR's fan, he followed her on douyin (comparable to chinese tiktok), he only followed 9 persons there and Tan Songyun is one of them. But Songyun does not lose to JBR for being a private person, people she followed on weibo is even smaller than him. She is very quiet, you cant get a thing out of her. She dont have any scandals either, the most i have heard when her mom died hit by car back in 2019-2020 accident. That's why when Go Ahead aired, and Jianjian waved at shooting star calling her mom, she trended no. 1 on weibo.

You should check her drama. I've never seen bad drama from her. All are super good.

You totally been missing out. You can pick any of her dramas randomly and you wont get disappointed with her acting/story(except if you dont like the genre). All her dramas are super good. I dont think i've seen any bad drama from her yet. Like everything is excellent. Even her debut main role drama is amazing. Her supporting role is excellent too.

Omg. He portrayed lu yunqi creepiness well in jun jiuling, but tbvh, i wish he is zhu zhan instead. Omg, omg he kinda wish he is the male lead in jun jiuling, not his role, but him as the actor and as zhu zhan the lead role

Legend of Fei, Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo has almost 10 years age gap, Go Ahead by Tan Songyun and Song Weilong also have 8 years age gap. These are just some drama that have older actresses paired with younger actor. You can find even more in kdramas. I don't mind the age gap, i actually even think it better because all of the actresses have great acting skill. I would rather pick actress with good acting skill than younger actress with bad acting that can influence our focus in the story.
