She would not survive acting with Song Weilong, zhang xincheng, liu haoran, wang kai, wulei, and many more. Some of the actors are even younger than her, but she still hold her ground. Seven is by no far not pretty. Seven is pretty but not your classic chinese drama heroine beauty standard. Seven is the baby face type.

Maybe because we are her fans who camped in her article so we focused more on praising her in the comments. Plus, tbf she is a very skillful and natural actress, she becomes more attractive when she is acting. If you are not good at your profession ie here actress, even when you are beautiful, it's so easy to find faults because your job is acting. Seven Tan is very good in acting, her acting is always natural imo, that she looks hundreds more attractive than prettier actress. Tbh, when i first saw her in Under the Power, my first thought is she dont look like the usual chinese heroine in costume drama, but she took seconds to amazed me with her acting skill.

She is so natural and believable at her role that i actually thought is she actually acting or is that really her in real life? But i saw her in variety show, her real life persona is far from her acting role😭, plus i watched her other dramas, she becomes another role without trace of her previous persona😭. Besides, her real life persona is very down-to-earth, low-key, not pursuing traffic, private, simple, humble, and easy-going. She dont have scandal and controversy too. Basically, she's likable and easy to relate to. She's not like superstar actress but just your next door friend.

From my observations, they (broadcast company) usually shelved drama for 2/3 years until they suddenly remember or one of the cast (especially leads) have some breakout drama outside. Usually when one of the cast got newfound breakout, then broadcast platform will suddenly release their shelved drama one by one. As long as the story adhere to republic standard and does not have any blacklist cast, it should be alright to release it on web platform. Satellite TV is strict, so it's different matter:).

Someone needs to add Seven's breakthrough award in cctv for Flight to You 2023.

This drama is produced by Youku right? Why is Tencent involved here? Cant they just air this on Youku platform? Did they plan to air this on satellite TV, bc web drama should be easier to air. Airing license is indeed hard for satellite TV, but web drama has some leniency.

I read Yang Yang is dating the female lead in real life? And they are both in the same company. She's the little Liu Yifei. Very young. Wu Lei peers.

Haha i just want to add another of her work in the cvb list. It's so satisfying looking all her works listed in cvb rating🤣. Plus she's sitting at the top list and having several works in top 10. Her cvb in cctv is also in top 3 too with her first cctv drama. An urban drama at that.

Though it's also alright if this dont air on satellite tv. It's just a wish anyway🤣.

I think they will censor most of the rated scenes. I read somewhere they plan to air this on satellite TV. It would be a loss to not air this on TV since Seven's cvb tv rating has been consistently high back to back. I hope some satellite TV pick this drama up for airing later

Haha you just remind me of love o2o drama. I dont like Rachel's acting there much too, but there was not much acting going around in love o2o drama tbh🥲. I like Rachel's acting better in Princess Weiyoung. She's good at acting as the sweet villain. But I saw her in the I am Actor competition show, it was outrageous especially her line delivery😭. Maybe she has improved now.

Idk but the novel is well-balanced between work and romance. The work setting is very professional and the romance is sweet. Idt they gonna omit the romance all the way through because the basis of the novel is work + romance. But imo, the script should be mature and no childish or cliche immature stuffs like in usual pet/idol drama. I think this drama gonna be good and way more believable. I mean i expected a professional settings when Seven accepted this drama because she is very picky with scripts. The script gotta be good for her to insist on this drama. Based on the reuters pictures, imo this drama should have enough romance. I mean they were hugging on the street😂. This is not a usual pet/idol drama, but it should be mature professional romance.

Even if the drama has a lot of work focused, it would fall back to both leads because they work together in the novel🤣. The plots need their romance to move on

Allen is actually a good actor. He is not from acting background, he is an idol, but even his first role was phenomenal. He was actually a rising actor after his first role, but his popularity dropped after he revealed his marriage. UTP was sort of career revival for both Allen and Seven(bc she took almost 2 years off from acting after her mom died in car hit and run). Allen gathered big fandom after UTP. Imo, UTP was Allen's best performance, plus his chemistry with Seven was the best among his co-stars. He just lack line/tone expression and acting voice. He had to use dubbing most of the time, but these days, he is trying to dub his own voice, which is an improvement. Imo, he needs to act in more modern drama so that he can improve his dialogue line. I still think Allen is a good actor, it's just that he sometimes lack acting chemistry with some of his co-stars, that the drama became a bit bland. If i were to rank Allen's chemistry with his co-stars, it would be Seven, Xing fei, and then Bailu.

I think it's because both of them have quite similar popularity trajectory in 2020 that they built some sort of fans rivalry. RJL actually wanted to act with Seven again, he said it in 2020. He also rose in fame in 2020 with UTP and Autumn Cicada. It's just the fans that have some sort of competitions going on. Plus, back then Seven was not that popular, some fans actually said Seven was riding RJL's fame/traffic( just some extreme fans).

Not as much as Master of My Own and Flight to You. I learned investing and aviation throughout the whole drama😌. Truly the definition of slow burn and little romance. But both were very good show and professional. Though As Beautiful as You should have more romance because the book has a lot.
