Please...why does the rating keep dropping?? And what's with this fandom wars?😭 please I love all the Chinese…
The XZ fan community has been toxic since the Untamed. Personnally I pity the poor guy, because he is indeed a good actor, Reporting and blocking the account of these people is your ticket to peace of mind.

Just blocking and reporting the account. XZ fan community is always like this since The Untamed. No point in trying to reason with them.

Title Kill My Sins
I thought he was too toothy in Princess Agents. He smiled too much at the beginning. Maybe it's his character…
His smile and demeanor seemed completely genuine, the kind of smile someone not self-conscious or posing for the camera would naturally have. It stands in sharp contrast to many good-looking but talentless "pretty boys" who are cast solely for fan service. The stark difference between his bright, lively personality and the person he became after the assassination of his entire family only made his performance even more powerful and unforgettable.

I am so happy that Dou Xiao got the ML part. His performance as Yan Xun in Princess Agents was amazing.

@GoGoGoGo123 I dont know what you are smoking, but an actor carreer is not over for one, or even a few bad choices. I take it that you are not overly familiar with the Chinese drama scene. Just one example: Dylan Wang went to make Love between Fairy and Devil after being highly criticised for Miss The Dragon. Also, what is the idea to create an account just to bash an actor? If you don't like the drama or the actors, just move on with your life and let other enjoy in peace.

It's very much worth watching for Richard Li. The story is a classic tragedy, so no happy ending to be expected. For once, the FL is not a pure, innocent girl. She is a mature woman, a cunning survivor of palace intrigues. It's refreshing. It is only at the end, when her past is revealed that we can truly empathize with her. The drama can be watched at https://kisskh.co/Drama/Zhao-Ge-Fu?id=7951&q=true

Person Li Xin Ze
His performance is The Blood of Youth is memorable. His last scene in the serie shows that this actor deserved more main role.

The ML character performance is very moving, and makes up for the drama flaws. I hope Huang Xin will be given the opportunity to shine in other dramas.

I find that Wang Duo and Joe Cheng are up there with Luo Yun Xi in term of being able to play complex characters. Sadly Joe Cheng is getting a bit older and the fangirl base needing constant fresh meat, I don't think we will see him as often. Last serie he had a substantial role was Rainless Love in a Godless Land.

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
What is this ending? Might take a long break from stupid xianxia drama from this
I feel you. The ending is not happy. These days, no matter how good are the actors, the script, the visual...if a serie is too full of angst, suffering and tragedy, I just dont watch unless it is an exceptional historical drama like Ming Dynasty 1566. Life makes you go through enough sad moments without looking for them during your free time. But that just me. Leo Yun Xi is a talented young actor and after this, I am hoping he will do something fun and sweet. In this drama, his character is quite similar to how he played Run Yu in Ashes of Love so I stopped watching after 10 episodes.

I appreciate both lead actors, the visual was outstanding but I am just tired of Xianxia where the leads suffer most of the time, the fate of the world is on their shoulders, they sacrifice themselves and at best, we get 15 minutes of happy ending. I much prefer a second rate lighthearted romantic comedy. Because I love his acting since Ashes of Love, my wish is that they give Luo Yun Xi a leading role in a fun and sweet historic or fantasy comedy where he gets the girl.

I'm agree i don't usually just drop any drama, i try to watch at least 4-8 episodes before decide, but i did drop…
I tend to drop Korean shows a little bit earlier than Chinese because the episodes are usually 1 hour +. Chinese drama episodes are around 40 minutes. For some reason, I find that a 15-20 minutes difference has a huge impact of my willingness to stick with the show. If I had known about Joy of Life, I would have done just like you, and waited until the second season to watch. There is nothing worst than investing so many hours and lacking closure. I've been waiting for the second season of Princess Agents forever.

I dropped around 15 dramas, which is around 1 drama per 5 watched. Among them, there are 11 which figure on your list. I think many of them were overrated romance by the fans of an actor. I dont't form an opinion before 6 episodes and I don't usually drop before 10, just to give the show a chance. Joy of Life and Nirvana in Fire are two of my all time favorite but I never push my personal tastes on others. We watch shows because we connect with them emotionnally, not because they are objectively good or bad.
