As I was reviewing the Korean remake, I was constantly comparing it with the original because of how impactful it was. There is so much I love about the Taiwanese version. I hope new viewers give this a watch as well because even some of the little things were so much better. I liked the Korean version to be fair but Someday Or One Day has my WHOLE heart!
There is no justfication for killing a person, no matter how evil they are. Murder is still a murder even when…
Main issue with capital punishment is it can be misused and innocent people can be wrongfully punished. There are many such cases around the world. Even though some crimes seem to justify the death penalty, I don't trust the justice system can truly prevent innocent lives being lost in the process.
She stood up in court and says that she regrets nothing by saving her son, but sorry for the other children? What…
They tried to make her look pitiful. That she only did it to save her son's life. Meanwhile she was plotting to sell organs of other unsuspecting healthy individuals to rich foreigners who "donated/invested" in her hospital program. Seems pretty sinister to me. The writer is nuts for trying to humanize this character and for making her son to wish to be a good son to an evil person.
It has some good episodes later on, mostly towards the end. But the plot is really dragged out to be worthwhile. Personally I wouldn't recommend if you like mystery dramas.
Not true. The drama covered their grief properly - but 8 episodes of crying, breaking down and screaming in courtrooms…
The first time you see video evidence of your loved one getting murdered and you have no or bare minimum reactions is considered "rational"? If anything that is the most irrational behaviour. No one is expecting "8 episodes of crying". But their first reactions were completely unrealistic. Even those who handle themselves well in a tradegy have other ways of showing it is affecting them. But here all the actors are reacting in the same teary-eyed shock-faced manner. Just say you can't handle any kind of criticism of your favourite actor(s) as that is more understandable than what you've written.
Oh Jin Woo was the most tragic character of all time. Ditched and deserted by both his parents. Mistreated by his adoptive mother. He had no friends. Didn't have many bonding moments with his brother.
After his death, no one really seemed to really break down. Two detectives and neither of them really looked into his death for a year until they saw that video of his murder. Frankly, if he was my brother or friend or son, I would be balled up in a corner, crying my eyes out or screaming in the courtroom uncontrollably. How was everyone related to him were so calm?
can someone spoil me who killed jinwoo cuz i dropped this at ep 5 but i’m willing to pick it up again if it’s…
The mother of Cha Young Woon ordered her secretary to attack him. Frankly, I would not recommend this show. Though some episodes do get better towards the end, overall, it's not that good of a show.
I had this on my watchlist because I thought it would be cute, straightforward historical rom-com, something like…
The series is all right. It's a bit predictable with the kinds of issues both couples are facing. So if you want something that is light then this drama is great for that. Especially if you are watching too many heavy or dark shows.
I agree! The drama will only be loved till the end if the two end up together and not "dying" together although…
It wasn't the wedding itself. But the pre-wedding celebrations I suppose that were already happening. Though considering the era she might not be able to reject the groom at that point. Just the fact that he was claiming she's already his wife just for accepting his wedding gift and can now kill her by accusing her of adultery is so horrendous. So yeah, he's scum. I hope he chokes on the wedding food or gets shot by an invader for killing his mates. Although the polite thing to do would be to bow out of the wedding seeing how miserable she is. The leads have a huge communication gap. That's the biggest problem. But if nothing will change for the better in part 2, yes, it'll be best if they live happily separately.
Season 2, the first season was divided into 3 parts leading to some confusion lol.
In a way it's good that the second season won't be released all in one go. I might be able to finish watching season 1 and then binge season 2 as well.

haha yeah. I'm sure their paths will cross. I also doubt that Gil Chae would have married the other guy now that she knows Jang Hyun is alive. And yes, if he falls for this new female lead, he would only prove Gil Chae right for not trusting him enough. If anything he's the one who made her doubt him by saying things like I have no intention of getting married. And she always told him that this is why she won't consider being with him. But hopefully we'll get some kind of happy ending.
Predictable story, poor acting, painfully stretching the hunt to solve a mystery that is no longer a mystery to the audience.
I don't think it's haters in this case. If anything 6 - 7 would be a more accurate rating.

They did this character dirty.
