yeah, as DongJo said himself and I quote :"The apple 🍎 will not drop far from the three", this publisher also…
Yes, his brother could send a hitman. We'd have to assume he didn't or it was no longer relevant to Dong Joo what was happening with those brothers. He managed to publish a second novel and was happy with that. Dong Joo may talk about killing bad guys but he's too moral to actually want to kill or harm Myung Seok. He is kind of aloof. Luckily he had a childhood bestie who was supportive of him. And now he has a brother in Kang San and Ha Neul. I actually was feeling bad initially for LMS when DJ would hang up on him or ignore him. I guess DJ read his character pretty well and knew this man is not worthy of giving too much attention. And LMS undid all the good he did by eventually showing his true colours. Publishing the book was just a good business decision and he never cared about anything else. Though at first I thought he would steal the book when DJ gave it to him to read. Which is why I am letting go of my dissatisfaction of how things went for him. Plus he was a small fry in the whole story which might be another reason that Dong Joo didn't really bother with him too much. And he felt guilty for calling the manuscript his own even though neither Kang San and Ha Neul really cared about that. I'm not frustrated because of them. I'm annoyed as a viewer because they managed to divert people's anger at the wrong thing. People ignored the murders and focused on the plagiarism. Is that realistic? Yes, of course! Happens all the time. That's why we watch dramas so we can feel gratified when bad characters get what's coming to them. :P I don't think you're unfriendly by the way. You are very helpful and detailed and I like that about you. <3 And you've really gone into the depths of each character which is quite impressive! And your description of "turd in a glass" made me chuckle. Thanks for that. :P

True but that is why he got his brother arrested because he was scared his brother will kill him. In the end, they showed him very happy to get the company. He didn't seem worried about the future. Plus that punishment is too easy for trying to ruin Dong Joo's reputation as a tactic to save the company. We got a time skip but didn't see what happened to these characters. Guess I'll just have to make peace with it as long as the leads are happy. :)
I found it very slow at times including the finale and was finding it a bit hard to stay awake which isn't what…
I usually rate dramas by comparing to other similar dramas in my head. I consider how much I enjoyed them versus how much I enjoyed the current one factoring in my initial expectations and how much I looked forward to watching it weekly. I don't consider 7.5 low though, if you look at my profile. Also, my rating is not really for others. It's personal because I might forget the details of this drama in future as I check my ratings to understand what I felt about it. My review is for others to get a feel for the drama.
Anyway, I will adjust the rating to an 8 because the finale covered everything and for the sweet flashback. Hope that's better. I didn't mean any offense to viewers like you who loved the drama as there is plenty to love. :)
Well, I wouldn't call this slow, it's normal pace for the genre... And if it's basically the only downside for…
I found it very slow at times including the finale and was finding it a bit hard to stay awake which isn't what I'd like to see as a great way to end but at least they didn't leave anything out. Though there is nothing wrong with the drama, I wish certain parts were cut out or at least the dialogue delivery was faster. It affected my enjoyment of it. The other points were the frustration I felt when the police officers believed their team members might not be trustworthy and they still hand one of the cops the USB drive of an important CCTV footage and he steals it. It didn't make sense to me after they were so suspicious and concerned about the evidence and information being leaked/destroyed. They got really lucky that another officer made a copy. It seems like a running theme in non-cop kdramas is that the cops will do foolish things and be a tad incompetent.
The ML also frustrated me for not sharing what he knew with Kang San in the beginning because he was feeling very upset and confused as he had no answers. The mother also was a bit of an annoying character at times so I had to run through scenes with her. And finally, there was a point where it seemed like the writers forgot about Kang San's abilities and nothing was happening in that regard. Another minor point is the publisher is the only one that got away after purposely maligning Dong Joo. So seeing him satisfied irked me slightly. But still good enough I suppose.
I'm only breaking all this down for you since you've asked why it was a 7.5 for me. 7.5 is pretty good in my book but if a drama makes me feel sleepy or annoyed at any point, I won't rate it 8+. Maybe I'd give Miraculous Brothers something like a 7.8 if we had a more accurate point system. In the end, we all have different experiences watching a show. What might be slow to me isn't slow to you. That's fine. I do like my dramas somewhat fast paced. And because these are personal reasons and also spoilers, I did not want to include it in my review. I still feel it's worth watching. Hope that helps.
I just can’t understand. Then why was she attached to that place.
Well it turned out to be rubbish because of the writers. Maybe it sounded cool to them on paper on where the 2FL stood but they were just beating around the bush. The only good thing was the contrast in FL and 2FL's character that was shown and why ML was drawn to FL. Though I did catch on because of the taste in In Hae's blood. They also degraded the evil vampire character by giving him such a lame ending. Otherwise he could have been a worthy opponent but he was busy playing mind games and running errands for money. Still, as bad as the storyline was, it's better than being bored because nothing was happening in the first half. It's made me stop watching and then binge a bunch of episodes on 1.5 and 2x. I saw the finale on 2x as well for the most part.

That's such a silly thing to say. You can like certain parts and dislike others. All the romance and action was happening in the second half. Meanwhile in the first, I was bored watching the other vampires and the ML and FL were doing odd jobs. That might be your idea of a good show but it's not mine. The first episode was best especially when she bit him. It went downhill right from there.
