The only thing I liked is that they finally revealed and explained everything in a hurry in the last 2 episodes. But I was so done with the plot that I watched most of it on 1.5 and 2x. This drama was not a romance genre but a torture genre with so many annoying characters.
This drama had potential but they took it in such a miserable direction that everyone only had the scope to portray 1 specific emotion in depth.
I am being generous by giving it a 6/10 but only because I was glad they finally explained all the mess. And I liked the OST grey. I laughed at the couple's reunion.
I felt that FL’s character is very realistic. She was at her peak of career and relationship, then struck with…
Good explanation actually. Her actions do make sense. And I can understand that she might not want to go back to that life. But I also felt like she was feeling like she might become a burden again due to her illness. Maybe she thought he would not be able to deal with it again in future. And she preferred to stay home with her family and friends where she has more than 1 support system to fall back on. That's just my assumption though. Let's see if they share more details later.
and yet k drama fans sexualize the actors every chance they get
Don't think you'll find me doing that in any of my reviews. I rated the drama 8.5 and I can't even remember why. I might have to adjust the rating so thank you for your comment.
Currently this is my favourite airing drama even though both the ex and the CEO are getting on my nerves. The main couple's chemistry is doing wonders. And I love the mundane dialogues that just end up being so hilarious. Like " Money first pleaseee" and "That's not enough. You have to wash your brain."
She's beginning to see the ML differently, she already let her ex go all she needed was closure.
I hope that is the case because I wasn't sure if she was breaking it off for the right reasons like her illness coming back. Plus he also wanted to support her new dream of cooking. In a way I like that this show doesn't villainize the ex like most dramas. Sometimes it just circumstances that affect a relationship.
Is it that good? Because I am hesitating to start it. I am not really into Noona romance and the ML,.. I dropped…
I would say Shin Min Ah makes them work. But he has a sweet side too so it is enjoyable. Plus the comedy is good. I like the SFL as well so I am curious how things with her will pan out. All in all, I feel it is quite underrated. Give it a shot.
I feel a bit bad for the SML. He didn't explicitly try to hurt her. And he supported her through the illness. Meanwhile even ML ignored her calls and messages. Neither are perfect and both let her down when she needed them. That is a pretty real situation unfortunately. It also seems she only let her ex-fiance go because she didn't want to burden him. So I am confused whether she likes ML more than a friend or is still sorting through her feelings?
