also the plot and character motivations don't fully make sense loool my fave plot hole is how home girl because fucking Merida with that now and arrow after one lesson. she's a genius I think 🤣🤣
what kills me is sooooo much of the plot could have been cut if the main leads had just asked a few more questions. literally just a few more WHY's could have saved everybody a lot of heartache omg
I agree and don't agree with you (respectfully). I think it really depends on what kind of comedy you like. I…
I totally get your point and I think I agree (I was perhaps too defensive, because the reasoning behind the low scores was quite annoying to me). I love how respectful your comment was, it reminds me that this comment section can be quite enjoyable even when we disagree!!
I am so put off by what seems to me to be an unnecessary break up scene when we already had something similar at the start... it's on hold until i feel i can brave it
i really don't understand the hate this gets, i also don't understand the people calling it cringe??? do they just not have a sense of humour? it's funny yet heartwarming and the chemistry of the leads??? sensational! their banter was so perfect.
the comedy is irreverent and is unique - it takes the cinderella story and makes it funny in a fresh way.
this is definitely one of the dramas you have to ignore the rating on mdl for, one of my fave dramas this year and a perfect length - other dramas in this field are unnecessarily long and therefore have ridiculously unnecessary drama. this drama balances the inclusion of heavier topics without ever sacrificing the true COM nature of the romcom.
a breath of fresh air - i think that while it's down to personal preference , in my opinion, you'd either have to not enjoy the romcom genre or be somewhat close minded in how romcoms should be executed to not enjoy this but to each their own. ( i think if you look down on comedy or don't really enjoy comedy - this might not be for you).
the cast was perfect, the plot never lagged or dragged, the comedy had me laughing out loud and the romance had me swooning and literally kicking my feet.
Cannot believe they ruined such a good thing with the stupid ass conflict between the main couple after s1. I was so irritated at that but I kept watching and I was satisfied with the ending. I think I am just disappointed because with a few tweaks to the script and pacing this could have been 10/10 across the board.
I would love to see this pairing in another drama again, preferably one not involving mango subs because LORD i SUFFERED. I will support them both until i can see them in a full length drama. the talent is there, they just need the right breakthrough!!!
Season 1 was so fun and interesting - i had to power through some pretty awful subs.
The chemistry was good and I have to say I would really love to see the main leads in a full length 40 eps drama soon. I have thoughts about where they ended things and how it led in to s2 but i'll leave it on the s2 page
