Good production value so far and I want to be engaged but this writing is so sloppy and repetitive. The villains…
Interesting, where you see sloppy and repetitive, I see time taken to build characters. I don't see the need for 16+ episodes, which only increases the likelihood of the drama actually becoming sloppy.
And there is no need to choose, you can read manga and watch kdramas.
Yes, but it is not for children. It's a mature way of telling a story; it is not for people with short attention spans or those who need continuous, fast-paced action to maintain interest.
Finally, after many years of waiting and botched attempts, there might be a historical kdrama worthy of following in the footsteps of Six Flying Dragons. I hope The Murky Stream is as good as it seems to be.
I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
In short, humans now have the technology to create artificial meat, but the real breakthrough is the ability to create artificial organs and, in its extension, eternal life. The drama is about different fractions that fight over this new technology. You should try it if you like thrillers and sci-fi (we are not far from our time, maybe 15 years). It is quite a unique drama in Kdrama land. I read somewhere that the writer has planned for two seasons, so I hope she gets it. It works as it is, but it will be even better with a second season. Anyway, I recommend it.
Guys.. any similar k-drama?I watched the dramas in the recommendation section
I don't think there is anything quite like Blood Free. But you could try "365: Repeat the Year." It is more supernatural than sci-fi, but it has some of the same feeling to it, e.g., action and mystery, a policeman instead of a bodyguard, and a writer in stead of a CEO.
can anyone explain the ending? Is it Yoon Ja Yoo inside Woo Chae Woon body?
No, she's not. There is an interview/comment with the screenwriter, and she says that is not the case. It is hinted that Yoon Ja Yoo is in the tank, initially meant for her sister.
Oh HELL NO. Please no Disney Freaking +Please let it be either Netflix or Viki.
Viki itself is nice, but it only streams in 720p. It is okay on small screens (mobile phones and tablets), but it looks really bad on larger screens. Netflix and D+ stream at a minimum of 1080p, often at 4k, and a higher bitrate. In terms of picture quality, it is a non-contest. Viki was better before when they streamed in 1080p, but they downgraded it to 720p.
Writer is very talented too. Consider watching his older shows if you can.
Punch and Whisper will give you a good idea of what the show will be like. It is not a style that fits everybody, but for those who like it, it is a 10/10. Both Punch and Whisper are on my all-time favorite list.
By all accounts, this drama must have had some severe production or post-production issues: disputes over rights, lack of funding, professional disagreements that could not be fixed, etc. I waited years for this……
The drama has such promise, but it is horrendous. The phasing and editing are awful. It is only 35 minutes per episode, but it is still hard to follow, and events don’t make sense unless you put tremendous goodwill into it. It seems that the episodes were originally supposed to be 50-60 minutes, but they are heavily cut down. What a shame.
Screen Rant interviewed HHJ about Blood Free. When asked about S2, she basically said that she shared the audience's curiosity about what would happen next with the plot and characters but knew nothing about S2.
She also said she had heard nothing about an S2 of Moving. But she did suggest that if an S2 were to be made, the tonkatsu served by Lee Mi Hyun could be made with Yoon Ja Yoo's artificial meat 😉 We can only hope.
Sadly I dropped that one for the unrealistic flying and floating during battles. I'm pretty sure it was the sword…
Haha, yes, there is some slight supernatural touch at the beginning, but it fades away later. I was thinking about the fight between Ddang-Sae and Gil Tae-Mi. It is a bit of a rough start, but after that, the show is absolutely amazing. SFD follows major historical events to the letter and makes no excuses for what the historical characters did. There is no sugarcoating, and very few historical dramas are able to do that. There is fictional stuff, but it does not intervene or change the historical in any fundamental way.
