Loving JiHoon so much. Gonna miss him when he goes for good. The character is gay and he plays it so well. I'd say I hope to see him in a project where the otehr male lead is also playing gay, but I don't think that would be great for his career trajectory. Still....

The thing about Thee is that he never HID. Like, no-one is actually surprised he's with a man because the whole town knows he's "that way", as they say. So, his dad has had years to come to terms with it. His grandmother, too. Only, she cares more about image and lineage than the dad does. Thee's dad isn't dealing with a change in perspective in terms of how to view his son and his expectations of his son's future — which parents from other shows have to deal with in real time when their kids come out.

How is it queerbaiting when it's filled with queer characters? Nothing about the setup told us the two male leads would get together as the main character is set up to be straight from episode 1. The gay male lead even ended up with a guy that we saw flirting with him the whole show,
He's so good. OMG! How does he DO that with his eyes and his face and his body?! Like, you can tell the lies his character is trying to tell. Dude! Put him in more stuff!!!
The male lead exudes SOMETHING immensely attractive. I especially love how he keeps reminding her she's a woman, because WE get the feeling that he's never forgotten for a second since she got on the back of his horse.
They did a good job showing how JunXi reacts to Tuo. He had a huge smile and happily let himself get dragged along when Tuo was being too possessive. Even when explaining, his smile was still there and he was having naughty flashbacks and thoughts. When Tuo was apologising for being too rough, JunXi was smiling, shy and pointed out that he didn't say "no" and at the end during the conversation where JunXi's thoughts are all in the bedroom, he's smiling through the reveal. Yes, it might be that he was in disbelief, but it seems that dude LIKES his man being possessive. Yo, as long as he's consenting and loving it, then they're perfect for each other. With anyone else, we'd be telling them to run from Tuo, but nah. Hold on tight, JunXi. Catch him!

The actor is doing a good job. You can see that he KNOWS he's too possessive and kinda hates himself for it... but he can't seem to stop it. Dude was down since primary school. He had no chance.
