i agree with you on the second thing, but to add my two cents on the first is that i believe she felt more betrayed…
From the beginning, she gave him a year. The contract period was a year. Yes, she didn’t tell him but it’s completely different because he knew about her and didn’t say anything. If she’d told anyone, they might’ve thought her crazy, but he knew from the beginning. He could SEE her clock, whilst he kept hiding his. (We SAW him actively hide his wrist from her at different times) Also, whenever she made plans with a deadline, he talked about their future beyond. He was in the wrong and he knew it. He knew it so much that it’s been eating away at him for some episodes- he didn’t even take the advice when his psychiatrist told him to tell his wife whatever secret we he was hiding.
She was a child actor. She has more experience.I think “most of the time” is an exaggeration, is it not? He’s…
I think your issue is with the director, not the actor here. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some fangirl or anything (of him, KYJ is another story), but I watched 4 and I still don't see what you're talking about. Maybe it's just his face? This character is uninterested in humans and has been powerful for two centuries. He's amused in the face of "danger" and even his annoyance, frustration and surprises have hints of amusement. Before 4, whenever she thought there was attraction, there wasn't on his part because he was bewitching her... I can see all that from the actor's performance.. Or, maybe the others and I have been watching too many idol dramas lately, and you've been raising your expectations...? *Note (because internet): written and intended to be read in an amused tone*
I think that the moment she found about the accident she felt angry only and wanted to leave immediately. It was…
The anger was momentary. You can see that. Then he explained his reasoning and then she felt betrayed. You don't need to think about something to feel it. Those seconds are enough for you to feel something and act on those feelings before rationalising them. She needed time to think.. and she did.
The ML is so handsome and a very talented actor. But his English!!! So so so bad. He can't even pronounce the words…
What? What's wrong with his English? His lines were perfectly understandable and said with the appropriate emotion. His lines were said as if he was trying to find the right words- which is appropriate for trying to describe what you're thinking/ how something makes you feel
I....assumed he was an idol and this was his first role (strange they made him villainous), but... I clicked on his page and he's a legit actor. Maybe it's the role?
What do you see as Mr Secretary's role? I did read the webtoon and this storyline seems like it might be different
He’d said he might switch sides due to family. He’d said no one knows the paintings like he does. Everything seems to come back to the nursing home. His switching sides doesn’t seem connected to any decision YiJu has made.
I donno why ppl liking this drama so much. for me it's an average drama. Like TYPICAL SOAP OPERA 😓[P.S: DON'T…
Taste. Everyone has different tastes. Also, what's wrong with average? Average is comforting. For example, this drama has many tropes that I love. I don't usually watch weekend dramas (soap opera-y ones), but this one is only 12 episodes, so it's faster paced than others. Still, the fact you stated that this drama was average (rather than terrible) is amazing, isn't it? It's not to your taste and you think it's mid, those on the other side are probably obsessed, then.
Finished episode 10 (and preview) and I've gotta say that I love when a plot goes exactly where I thought it would. It means that the writers planted clues for us to follow and didn't try to mess with us by pulling something out of the blue. Yi Ju, as I thought; Jamie, as I thought; YuRa, as I thought and even DoGuk is as I'd thought. Mr. Secretary, please don't let me down. I'm kept captivated by each episode. Only one week left, though.
The way I see it, they haven’t explained enough why Babe keeps Charlie around, lets him come and go as he pleases,…
I came here after watching the first episode to say that I liked the way Pavel broadcast that Charlie didn’t smell. In th changing room that first time. His face went “wait a minute…lemme check again…. oh, wow. Yes!”

I think “most of the time” is an exaggeration, is it not? He’s doing quite well in this role.
