Sure, I understand that some folks might not be able to afford vip or subscriptions and refuses to wait as a free user so they watch it on pirate sites instead, fine, you do you. But what I am saying is, at least have some moral sense and don't advertise it.
Where can I watch ep 19- dramacool doesn’t got it up yet???
Even if you refuse to support the production crew and actors, that's fine, but please, have some decency and cease the advertisement of pirate sites. You folks giving likes to that person who posted up that pirate link is basically supporting robbery.
Now the drama is doing so well...so can we hope tencent would release more EPs per week?🤔
In a business perspective to maximize profit, wouldn't it make more sense to milk it for all it's worth? And to be fair, six episodes per week imo is pretty decent. I mean, how many places on earth would release this much contents per week?

You are completely off topic now - My reply was strictly addressing the reason for recent postponement of historical dramas that you have mentioned. The recent postponement has nothing to do with scandals, bad behaviors or types of genres.
I know we all sad waiting 4 days for new episodes... but now so many costume dramas postponed, because of issues…
This is because production companies are taking precautions in fixing up aesthetics in historical dramas that are either unauthentic, fantasized or foreign influenced. This action is promoting a culture of accountability within the industry - It has Nothing to do with "crazy censorship" or "cancel culture". Please don't turn positivity into negativity and spread it like wildfire.

Whether or not if it's authentic to that period is one thing, but just because it's in a bow shape that doesn't necessarily mean it had foreign influences. Correct me if i am wrong, but I have never seen a Kimono knot that hangs down to one's feet. We need to ask the show's dress designer(s) on where the inspiration came from, if any.

The thing is that small knots(including bow knots) on the waist or chest area is exactly how you would wear some of the Hanfus. The production company edited some of them out just for precautions and not necessarily because of foreign influences. The scene with Cheng Yang on episode 4 with the long knot on the back is pretty debatable - We need an expert on this one. However, since they left it in, I am pretty sure it's not going to spark a boycott.
So this might not be true but the reason why they have not added another day is because all costume dramas, even…
Netizens in China boycotted a recent drama and the production company of this drama took precautions and edited out a small bow knot on Lusi's back, that's it. Everything else looks pretty authentic other than the colors on some of the dresses might be too colorful during this period.
I pray with you that this drama does not crash and burn towards the end like Luoyang or Sword Snow Stride. For…
You didn't like some of the fighting choreography. You got annoyed by ML's grieve of his dead friend. You didn't like some of the dramatic music. You don't like cliff hangers.
Sure, but plot wise, how did the story wraps itself(or lack of) towards the end of the first season? You wrote a lot... and that's about it.
Just watched the first EP. On Leo's part, it sounded like it was partially live recording and partially dubbed with his own voice. On Lusi's part, I am pretty sure it was fully dubbed but with her own voice. You can easily tell the difference from lusi's audio vs the rest of the cast, it was that obvious. Again, i have only watched the first EP.
Well I guess the propaganda machine is on overtime 😂LBY c’mon flex your muscles and come home with Shaoshang…
@CaliDreamer I seriously got a good laugh at that ignorant comment. Exactly how is it "propaganda" to fix a certain aesthetics on a dress that didn't exist in Chinese history? Wouldn't it be more of a "propaganda" to not fix it? But do please elaborate and further entertain me. Oh, and thanks in advance, darling.
Love The Way You Are a new Chinese, is literally the B copy of this series. They stole all the scenes, I am unable…
@Nauriya Folks like you are the reason why people get sued for leaving malicious and irresponsible comments of slandering a company, especially if it affects the show's view counts or the company's reputation. It's quite obvious that there was some sort of deal made with the show's copyright holder(s) for the original show to be aired on one of China's platform. It's also obvious that your comment is full of ignorance and discrimination - A company in China decides to do a remake of a drama and somehow it represents the whole of "China blatantly plagiarized this series."
That is the problem. With Youku, we don't know. Back in days of TLB and YAMG, with Tencent Video, we have running…
AvenueX didn't mention anything about Sword Snow Stride on that review video. Sword Snow Stride and The Blue Whisper are in different genres. She mentioned it was better(story wise) than Mirror Twin Cities, Novoland Pearl Eclipse and Ancient Love Poetry.
It’s nearly reaching 1.0% in TV ratings now with 7/4 airing being 0.941%. It started off around 0.655%. Considering…
5 billion(4.88 to be exact) views as of right now. Yang Mi is ranked 1st on the most popular actor in the past month, just slightly above Zhao Li Ying. It baffles me that Zhao Li Ying's last drama was a little over a year ago and her popularity is still this strong.
As expected from a 66 episodes drama - it's going to get draggy at some point and it's already in affect on EP 19-20. You can basically skip these two episodes and won't miss a thing other then a bit of side story from the divine doctor and his lost brother. The two episodes are basically setting up for a bunch of jealous concubines in the inner palace fighting over the Emperor. It's putting the progression of the main story to a halt. This type of inner palace drama setting is being over used and over played in almost every single Chinese historical dramas - It's one of the reason why everyone around me(including myself) have zero interest for 'Ruyi's royal love in the palace'. A 90 episodes, yes 90! long episodes of jealous concubines going at it - Screaming and screeching their lungs out. Didn't feel bad at all when the drama got boycotted.
