Thank God that they did it this way, because it will become another Mary Sue drama. A lot of audiences are sick and tired of Mary Sue dramas - the 'Everybody loves me syndrome'.
Drama is starting to enter the palace setting phase. With more character introductions, more backstories of each characters and more schemes, it's going to get complicated for foreign viewers, even to point that it will feel draggy.
