I really enjoyed it, even though it dragged slightly at the end. Perfectly cast and absolutely loved the tone of the show. Never too serious or too silly; everything was well integrated.
I look forward to Park Hae Jin’s next project. He was excellent in this.
They started filming this in march 2021 so it’s weird why it’s been long delayed. It’s not the only JTBC production that has been filmed a while ago and still no news; there is also Flying Butterflies which also finished filming more than a year ago and still no news.
I though this would be a slice of life drama about motherhood and parenting; this drama was all over the place. I honestly have no idea what to make of it. Very tonally confused.
Not every main character is in every episode; they usually have a couple of episodes dedicated to them, pop in and out in some and others they’re just not there.
The start is a bit jarring but I think this format works.
Really enjoyable, and fun drama. Not too serious but you still care and like the characters. I think the leads have good chemistry and also enjoy the supporting characters and side couples as well. Never paid much attention to Kim Young Dae before, but he was good in this kind of role. He was more funny and charismatic than I thought he would be.
Asking an alcoholic stranger you know nothing about other than that he is an alcoholic to worship you because…
You said it right. That would most likely be dangerous if it happened irl. I know it’s drama but its presented itself as a realistic drama and ain’t no way a character like that would approach an alcoholic like that.
I thought it would be similar to My Mister because of the writer but its got its own charm. I didn’t like it as much as My Mister or Lost but it’s still one of the best dramas of the year. Lee Min Ki to me, is the standout and best performance here. Loved the Arc of his character. If you love slow burn dramas this is a good one.
As others have also said below, Park Hae Jin should seriously consider doing a historical drama next. He definitely has the regal look to play a king or prince.
I never knew Yoon Kye Sang was considered unattractive until I read this comment section. I think he’s great in this drama and has really good chemistry with the fl. The Fl is great as well; I really like Seo Ji Hye. To me, this is a good romcom.
Imo this has been a great drama thus far, and my second favourite drama of the year behind The King of Pigs. Hopefully it ends well and more people watch it.
I love that Cha Chawoong is actually just an adorable dork. The romance surprised me because it’s been handled so well. Not rushed and more importantly not always at the forefront so it allows space for the other genres to also shine.
Just from the stills and little clips released so far, Lee Jae Wook seems like a perfect fit for a role like this. I haven’t seen much from the Hong sisters but I did see Hotel Del Luna and really didn’t like that one, so hopefully this one is better.
Well it took a while to really find its stride but the second half of the drama has had some really great moments. Sad it’s ending next week because now I’m so invested.
Just started watching this on Viki. I’m already liking it, but is just me or is the sub timing too quick? I keep rewinding every few seconds because the subs are too fast. I’ve never had a problem before. Is this just a me thing or has anyone else noticed this?
