When asked to describe the genre in a recent interview, the lead actress called it a mix of healing, mystery, romance, romcom and thriller. Sounds like it’s all over the park but yeah definitely a full blown romance not a “slight” one

This is apparently only 4 episodes which is a shame cause I still need to see Yoon Park as a main lead in a regular 12-16 ep drama. The casting looks great, but I already wish it was longer.

I would say in the future the tags should include slight romance. There’s a good bit of romance particularly for Yong Mi and Young Shin. Somin is paired with Na in Woo. They have less compared to the other couple. I would say romance makes up like 15-20% of the drama. The chemistry is great and the romance is well integrated to the plot.

I wonder if this will happen now since Moon Chae Won picked a different project that was announced after this. This is currently in limbo. I like the plot description so I hope it does happen.

I dislike the way male leads in dramas like this are written. You could have an interesting character there but he’s just a vessel for the audience. There’s nothing there. He’s just there to be there for her and support her. A one dimensional character and a charisma vacuum. All the interesting things are written for the female lead so the disparity is huge.

Not 100% certain but I remember reading an article when this was first announced saying that he was terminally ill. The article mentioned something like “Gyeo Rye tries to be happy even if it’s only for a little while,” so I think that implies it. We’ll probably know more when they properly start advertising it.

Okay not having the female lead from the first season is a bit weird. She had great presence and I really liked her chemistry with Oh Ji Hyuk. It’ll be weird not having her. I hope the season is still good but she will be missed.

Stronger first half than second. The thriller elements were filmed in an awkward manner. I think they fell flat. I still liked the drama though the arbitrary choices in the last 15 minutes were too much. The chemistry with the leads was good and I liked the couple. It’s a weird drama cause there’s a lot of good things but it also makes some questionable choices. 7.5/10.

Well that 15 second teaser on YouTube confirms there’s romance. The tone from that little teaser was also not what I was expecting. Anyways, I’m really looking forward to this drama.

Enjoyable drama. I do like campus/ romance dramas and this one is pretty entertaining. A little bland in some aspects but the cast is great and the chemistry between all of them is good. Solid entertainment. 8/10 for me.

I’m still confused who the ml is because Kim Jae Young was announced before Go Kyung Po but it looks like it’s the latter based off the cast billing and description. Was hoping Jae Young would finally be a ml in a big drama.

Looks like Namgoong Min passed on this, and it’ll be Cho Seung Woo. I’m okay with this. Namgoong is already playing a lawyer in his next drama, Thousand Won Lawyer, so playing a lawyer again might’ve been redundant. Cho Seung Woo is a great actor so I’m still looking forward to this.

This shouldn’t be 24 episodes; that’s way too long. That said this was a very good romcom.

No surprise that this was good as Kogonada is the director of half the episodes. He is a great director. I wish it was just a 1 season thing because this is a story that can definitely be told in 8-12episodes. I don’t think a second season would be necessary but I’ll remain open minded.

After that ending I’m pretty lukewarm on the drama. It’s fine and satisfactory but nothing special. 7.5/10.

Even though I didn’t love it, I would love to see Namgoong Min in a romcom again. He never does these kinds of dramas anymore but he should.

Yeesh this is textbook of what not to do in a drama. Cannot in good conscience even say it’s worth giving a shot.
