Hopefully Bilibili picks it up like The King of Pigs
Thank god Bibibili picked up King of Pigs. Even if the subs weren’t 100% perfect, they still did a good job and many international fans got to see and appreciate the drama.
The format of 3 episodes per week and each being 30 mins reminds me Mad for Each Other from last year. That was a nice, short romance drama. I hope this is the same quality.
can someone enlighten me? why did jongsuk kill cheolie?
When Cheolie said he would kill himself, Jongsuk was relieved because then the violence would stop. As Cheolie would be a martyr, Jongsuk worshipped him like a god. When Cheolie changed his mind, Jongsuk couldn’t accept that because there was no guarantee the violence would stop, and doing the stunt where Cheolie only pretends to fall isn’t worthy of a god. He had to kill him because he knew for sure the violence against them would then stop. He thought that was the only escape.
I think there are some comments below which explain it better.
So it was revealed today that he actually travels back in time. I think that’s great rather than it just being a regular prequel. Cautiously optimistic.
Brutal, bleak and tragic. Absolutely loved it. I’m glad it didn’t hold back. The performances by the two leads and the younger actors were incredible. I’ll likely never watch this again but it was amazing. If you want something dark, nihilistic and with something bold to say, this is it. 9/10.
There are only two dramas this year that I’ve finished from start to finish which is this and Through the Darkness. Kdrama’s are handling dark, disturbing subject matter pretty well this year.
Really hoping Kim Jae Young is the male main lead and not Go Kyung Po. Jae Young is underrated and I’d love to see him finally get the spotlight in a big drama.
Is it as good as Dear My Friends and Live? I really love Noh Hee Kyung's works and I also love the cast but I'm…
It’s different because each episode only focuses on certain characters so it can feel a little detached. If you liked those dramas then you’ll probably like this one, though it takes a while to get into; we’ve probably not reached the best episodes yet as only 6 have aired.
The ratings should rise like how it did with Crazy Love. The chemistry between the leads is good and a nice mix in genres. Hopefully by the end the rating is fair and not brought down by people who haven’t even watched it.
Man I really hate time travel content in any form and this is no exception. Some truly suspect writing here, I couldn’t believe it was the same writer as Secret Forest. It actually started in an intriguing way but rapidly lost its way. It’s better than whatever Alice was but not as good as Kairos (though Kairos is more of a time-slip than time travel). All round a very frustrating watch that I would not recommend unless you like convoluted plots.
this show made absolutely no sense and is so convoluted that it cant keep up with its own words. it is fuckin…
Agreed. The plot had everyone running in circles only to reach back where it started rendering the whole thing frustrating. When the whole thing was done I had to ask myself if it even made sense.
Good performances though and yes … f*cking gorgeous.
