I have love-hate relationship with this drama. Love the comedy but passionately hate his side-kick prosecutor and partly the detective too in S1. Also, my heartaches everytime Hae Il is heartbroken by memories of the elder priest or his last mission. I couldn't help but cry when he cried.
Average script, I wonder if characters IQ drop as story progresses or it was like that way right from start.
Plus, I hate rushed and unsatisfactory ending. No proper end shown to someone who lied for 22 years and framed Healer for his first m"rd"r. The end only left me feeling empty and sad inside.
So many characters needed a proper end. Both leads needed to call him 'Uncle' and have a proper meal together with him, adoptive father and bio mom. This deserves an epilogue.
What kept me hooked is definitely JCW, PMY and the OST. At first, I was sceptical for Chae Yeong Sin's character but I didn't expect it to be done so adorably yet mature. From start I liked Healer's dream of moving to island even though I knew it's not gonna happen. It was easy and expected for a loner like him to fall for someone like Chae Yeong Sin.
I loved Kim Nam Gil in Through the Darkness and immediately moved on the fiery priest series. I loved his role in all 3 dramas. Excellent actor!
I love seeing good teamwork, investigation and comedy. Even if S1 is more elaborate and perfectly crafted in all aspects personally, season 2 > 1.
It's because I felt infuriated so often in first 20 episodes of season 1. It was around 22 or 24 that I felt excited in the drama. I passionately disliked the character of Prosecutor Park, so much that I mostly skipped or put her scenes on 2x. Even after she joined hands with Father Kim, I couldn't bring myself to appreciate her character.
On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in S2. Season 1 takes more than half of the drama (22-24 episodes) for them to come together and share the same values.
Also, Kim Nam Gil in long black coat and fighting with all his might is really really hot and thrilling. The chances are really low but I truly wish there will be a S3!! Or else him playing a detective/agent again.
the single worst thing to do in writing in my opinion is not having a weak story or bland characters. its the…
EXACTLY! I am skipping all her seasons. After seeing her trash character in ep 1, I had to come here to check if she is really tagged as main role or my eyes are seeing things. Her character is absolutely disgusting to me.
The autobiography "Through the Darkness" book must be a really think one I believe.
Hence, we definitely need a season 2!
Even if it goes back and forth in the timeline of season 1, that's absolutely fine. I wouldn't mind seeing Song Ha Yeong and Kook Yeong Su going through the thousand cases and their 200 interviews (mentioned in an episode)
After watching children of nobody i was hoping for a revenge drama without any good character being dead . It…
I had same doubt with Kim Sun Hee but there could be 3 possibilities - she thought it might have been found and discarded during 10 yrs; going there to collect the recorder might get her k-worded immediately as they own that place; she forgot it exists
And I agree , confession drama definitely didn't get the attention it deserves and king the land is over hyped
Finished watching this and wondering why is this 8.9 and not 9.0+. The script and acting is top-notch.It's just…
I was pissed when the presidential secretary was pardoned after 3 yrs. But I think the person used for the experimental surgery at ep 20 end is her. It is also shown that President gave her a pardon only to k'll her.
Nice watch actually. It is also something you can binge in one sitting (7-8 hours) or consume slowly for few days…
I dislike how Seon Wook was sacrificed but because of him, the real Vigilante was saved twice - from the stab and the indictment. Also, posthumous promotion thing for the university president was ridiculous. It's a pity the Vigilante couldn't prove his crimes to the world.
Came to check on him while rewatching 'While You Were Sleeping' He has such a fresh and youthful face, definitely suitable to be the MC in some campus rom-com

I really wanted to watch for Lee Seung Gi after watching Mouse.
