Title Deranged
Don't know from which drama's recommendations I stumbled om 'Deranged' but glad I did. Otherwise would have almost missed a gem.

I was so pissed when the initial focus was on saving the power plant and economy instead of mitigating the disaster and saving people's lives.

30 minutes in and God the prime minister and whole staff under President is rotten trash. Well, the president is no better when he was the first person to call Kang Jae Hyeok as 'that person'. If not for the wake up call from the female (his wife I think), he would have lead the nation to ruins.

Title Emergency Declaration Spoiler
Pilot would have declared an emergency right away when he knows there is a biohazard on the plane and passenger's…
Right! Even I was expecting him to declare emergency right after Yim Siwan's death. At this point of time, all people on airplane were surely not infected. They should have done landing around 1-1.5 hours and then show the whole aftermath.

Title Emergency Declaration Spoiler
Cutting the landing sequence at the end was so irritating and anti-climactic. If you're making me sit through…
EXACTLY! Why cut the landing and the quarantine scene. After all the rollercoaster ride, it instantly goes into a peaceful atmosphere. All the tension built only to cut a crucial moment. I was expecting people (or rather the nation) to thank the pilot, flight crew, on-board doctor and the detective (who got himself infected) for their continuous effort of bringing back everyone home safely even when they themselves were infected with virus.

Title Emergency Declaration Spoiler
I never expected any another country to allow their landing but not their home country leaving them hanging mid air because of people's protests at the air base. That's a big betrayal, a huge back stab, an emotional damage to anyone affected by the disaster.

The people in flight are your own fellow countrymen. They need help. I mean, I don't even want to consider the protestor's concern for infection but leaving them hanging mid-air with less fuel and an ex-pilot with his own fears is traumatic.

I am pissed and heartbroken at the same time. Abandoning them mid-air only to crash in any place is just a big no.

Why cut the landing and the quarantine scene? After all the rollercoaster ride, it instantly goes into a peaceful atmosphere. All the tension built only to fizzle out at the crucial moment. Very very anticlimactic end.

I was expecting people (or rather the nation) to thank the pilot, flight crew, on-board doctor and the detective who got himself infected for their continuous effort of bringing back everyone home safely even when they themselves were infected with virus.

Title Intense Love
I was misslead by the high rating and positive reviews (maybe they made sense in 2020) and I tried my best until…
yes, it came during the (peak?) covid times (May 2020) and was a fluffy romcom with eye candy leads, intense chemistry and many good kisses. It was definitely popular. I myself re-watched it countless times.

It's almost 6 years, we have too many better romantic dramas with perfect script, characters and chemistry, this one definitely isn't as pleasing as it was in 2020

I was happy when Moon Baek's identity as bullet maker was fake, I had assumed he won't have cancer but alas! I hoped he could live a peaceful, healthy and happy even if he was the villain

The plot development is thrilling and gripping. I was hooked up so much that I finished it in one sitting.

I started watching this for KNG but was drawn to Moon Baek. Not excusing his actions but I feel heartache for Moon Baek. Life was cruel to him since his birth to presumably death. Once he was saved by the American cops(?), he definitely needed a hand to pull him out from darkness. They saved his body but couldn't save his soul. His end is neither rushed nor an unrealistic one. It was pretty much natural but didn't feel satisfactory.

I love how Lee Do convinced people to drop the gun which ends up with hug scene and the end scene with kid was definitely the best way to conclude. Lee Do's character journey.

"I just want to hear your story" and Gyu Jin cried in Lee Do's arms. He surrendered and got arrested but then there's no follow up on him and I really hate that.

I really wanted to see what happened with him and the bullies as well. Or maybe the reflections of the people who went berserk. They could have stretched the drama slightly and make it 12 episodes of 35-40 minutes.

Also, never have I ever seen ending credits of a drama running for 6 minutes. I was so surprised when I kept forwarding and it's just credits after credits, displayed in multi language

Ep 4 and I'm so fvcking pissed off!
Like Lee Do saved your dãmñed a$$es from a mass shooting and they were bold enough to question his decision of shooting the criminal? Like he obviously gave him multiple chances for surrender but the mf had second gun. How dare they give him 3 month suspension instead of clearing his name?

And the reporters, they're the villains in 8/10 k-dramas.

I feel like in 7/10 times, he is a supporting character. I have definitely seen his dramas more than that of my favourite lead actors.

>Jumped straight to ep 15 What were you expecting after doing that?
If I feel beginning (ep 1-4) is too boring or annoying but the drama has really good reviews/cast, I go jumping back and forth between episodes instead of directly dropping the drama
On The Fiery Priest 7 days ago
I have love-hate relationship with this drama. Love the comedy but passionately hate his side-kick prosecutor and partly the detective too in S1. Also, my heartaches everytime Hae Il is heartbroken by memories of the elder priest or his last mission. I couldn't help but cry when he cried.
On Healer 7 days ago
Title Healer
Average script, I wonder if characters IQ drop as story progresses or it was like that way right from start.

Plus, I hate rushed and unsatisfactory ending. No proper end shown to someone who lied for 22 years and framed Healer for his first m"rd"r. The end only left me feeling empty and sad inside.

So many characters needed a proper end. Both leads needed to call him 'Uncle' and have a proper meal together with him, adoptive father and bio mom. This deserves an epilogue.

What kept me hooked is definitely JCW, PMY and the OST. At first, I was sceptical for Chae Yeong Sin's character but I didn't expect it to be done so adorably yet mature. From start I liked Healer's dream of moving to island even though I knew it's not gonna happen. It was easy and expected for a loner like him to fall for someone like Chae Yeong Sin.
