It's so weird too since none of the synopses even mentioned their English names until it starts airing. It's the…
Yes, HIStory never had English names so that's sounds weird.
My Tooth Your Love managed very well the fact that some names were English, they used both version in the episodes and, most of all, the actors were saying those English names.
Also, here the characters called each other with their Chinese names and the Chinese way (family name before first name) while the translation had the Western name and reverse order. Eg: Lin Huai En became Wynn Lin. I can accept the English versions - even if I don't like it - but the inversion is useless. After so many shows we know the difference in both languages so I really don't understand... 😫
It is not uncommon for Taiwanese and Chinese (mainlander) have their native names and an English one for easy…
Thank you! I thought it was something like that but I wasn't sure. It just felt strange since Viki used the Chinese names in the first episode (episodes 1&2) but on today's episode (3&4) all the names became suddenly English-ized 😅 I was so confused at first
right? RIGHT? RIGHT?!? My thoughts when i first saw the 7.8 rating!
I'm sorry, I badly explained myself 😔 I'm not that good at English.
When I voted for episode 3 in the 'episode guide' menu, the rating of episode 3 got higher. Usually it doesn't change whenever I vote because there are many votes, but today it did because I was the 4th voting.
Probably you were referring to the general rating and I misunderstood, I'm sorry 😔
The general rating never gets higher whenever I vote, apparently we're not that lucky 😅
Let's hope it almost reaches 8 cause the show deserves it 😍
Can someone please explain to me why the protagonist name went from Dai Zhe Ni (here on MDL is Tai Che Ni) to Dai Johnny? And Lin Huai En became Lin Wynn? Is it for an easier reading? But why changing it during the series?
I am watching on Viki, idk if Gaga has the same issue.

You know if episodes rating affect the whole rating? Because I've just clicked on episode 3 and it had a 7.3 rating 🤯 I was shocked and voted and it glaldly got higher. Episode 3 is my favourite so far :)
I would love them to cast actual gay actors, its clearly evident that these actors are not comfortable kissing…
I agree. The show was Ocean like me. And one of the main was Holland, the first (and only, I think) gay singer to come out. But he was clearly so much worse than the other main, who is a good actor and should be straight. (I haven't see him saying anything different, so I just assume). The chemistry was there but you see that Holland was put too soon in a main role, it being his acting debut.
Unfortunately, also the plot didn't help in making it a good show 🤕
100% agree and I feel sad that someone who lacks cultural understanding and brought a frankly xenophobic as well…
Oh 😍😍 this is a mega present before Christmas 😘 thank you :)
I don't have twitter but I'll definitely use that youtube link 🤗 I found some kind translators for Taiwanese shows but I was lacking the Thai ones. Now I can catch up 🥰
The Pink Lady reference got lost in the tight dark room in the bistro back :( I really hope they have a surprise release because that felt uncompleted af

So so happy to hear that! I've read somewhere online about JamFilm trending and I was so happy 😊 - unfortunately there aren't many sources in English about Khun Chai, so it's difficult for me to follow the whole thing.
On one side, this is better for the reasons you already explained, but on the other I feel left out.
And Big A with the hockey player too. I adore this show, but honestly, you can't wrap up 4 couples all in the…
Yes, Taiwan sometimes lacks with time for the side couples 😔
I can understand the hint between the senior and the sister (it can just be the first approach to a relationship).
Same goes for Big A and the hockey player: they are starting a relation too, and we don't expect much storyline - and probably they have met other times for dental visits without showing us.
BUT, come on, invest so much time on hinting about RJ and Alex, and in two episodes we only have Alex reading RJ's book and thinking of him but also rejecting the feeling growing in his chest? That's playing with our feelings 😥
I'm sorry that it didn't raise after your vote 🥺 keep trying, maybe it will happen with next episode.
Have a good day/evening! 🤗

I'm in love 😍❤️
I like BLs lately have changed the 'falling in your arms' trope to very different falls and - most importantly - without the improbable kiss.
Merry Christmas to you too! I hope you have a nice day 😊
And yes, Han Gi Chan is so sweet and talented, I hope to see him soon in other shows 🤗
And Merry Christmas! :)

Extremely short, but extremely cute. One of the best I've ever seen 😍 still wishing they'd make a longer series

Anyway, thanks for sharing the news 🤗 fighting!
