I felt the same about the dad - gosh, I hate him so much - and I kinda felt uncomfortable at mom's words too :(
I totally agree with you about Xun An but I think he's doing all this to protect Bai Lang and because he wants Bai Lang to have a warm feeling from his parents, since he lost his ones. And telling BL he's being beaten goes in the opposite direction. Also, XA probably thinks BL doesn't want to date him if he's the cause of a break between XA and his parents. He can't feel guilty for another parents/son broken relationship. Probably I'm reading too many things that aren't right, but that's what I think.

also, RJ! I couldn't say it better! I mean, they have only one episode and they need to wrap up the main couple situation, then RJ and Alex, then Big A with the hockey player, and they hinted the fourth couple? :o
The show has soo much potential, I really hope they won't rush the last episode to cover everything :(

I agree, but I think Xun An wanted Bai Lang to think of his new family as united and warm. And that's why he's saying nothing 😔 I don't agree, but I understand.

Since you talked about the proposal... I'm fed up with the wedding/proposal at the last episode. I understand BL stories are trying to normalise same-sex wedding, but one thing is it coming from Thailand, another one when it's from Taiwan (where, if I'm right, it's legal).
Like, I'm okay with it when it comes from a long healthy relationship (like the couple being together for 7y in My secret love) or from a friends>lovers couple. But here, Bai Lang and Xun An know each other for how long? 3 months? I understand true love and soulmate concepts, but come on, marriage is a big deal.

I agree. I just finished the film but I liked the series more ✌🏻 they cut some scenes and that's all.
I hoped the film had a more satisfying ending, but it was the same as the series.

Really? It seemed to me more Mark/Ford. Isn't Ford the one who takes Mark's arm in the bar? And then there's a scene in the intro (or outro, I don't remember) where there's Mark with someone I can't identify, but his hairstyle looks like Ford's to me.

After watching this episode I love Tiw with all my heart.
And I'm happy Mark is having many works in 2023 🤗

It has music, yes, but the focus is on the main's relationship, which is not what it looks like at first sight 👀🥰

I'm rewatching it (I'm watching the film version now) and there are just two things I'd like to say:
- Bong Deok is such a nice guy and doesn't deserve all of it 🥺
- Cheol Soo's dimples 😍🔥

You're right about KP and Big Dragon: skinship isn't all. Check out is an example (at least, that's what I've read, since I didn't watch it).

I think the main disappointment was that it seems that skinship with a good story sells better than a cute romance with a good story, as if skinship gives that extra touch that apparently a "more innocent" romance doesn't.

Anyway, tastes are tastes and we can't blame others for not thinking like us 😋

To be honest, I don't dislike BLs with kisses and makeout scenes (and I think you don't dislike them too) but like you, I also prefer more this kind of BL story. I just don't understand why it doesn't get the same amount of attention 😭

I mean, I'm only at episode 3 of Khun Chai now, but I'm already hooked 😍

Reading your description, the first BL to come to my mind is Trapped (which is also my first BL ever) ❤️
The slow burn, the plot and the storyline were so good. A cop and a mob boss falling in love is not the most realistic thing, but it was done really well.

Honestly, though, ratings on MDL are the minor thing... I'm more disappointed that Khun Chai doesn't get the recognition it deserves inside the BL fandom 😔 I get this is different from the typical BL show, but that's what it makes it so funny, deep and beautiful, in my humble opinion ❤️

One thing I would like to see is that they won't remember about the meetings in the past, especially the biking/jogging almost crash, it would feel more realistic.

Like, they were destined to meet, but they really met only when they were ready for it ❤️
