That was just a fantasy in his head. JXA told him to imagine something else while he was getting treatment at…
It was kinda confusing. I took attention at the voices and it seemed to me JXA's voice. But I read many people thinking it was BL ๐ค I think we'll stick with the dilemma. But the kiss was just a fantasy, yes
I like the 3rd story WAY more than the second so Iโm with you lol
Sorry to bother you, I'd like to ask you something: I was wondering if the four stories are related with each other (like, they have some characters in common, or maybe are set in the same places), or I can decide to watch the 3rd for example, without watching the other two?
Hey there no apologies needed and it is awesome to get feedback. I will admit generalizing was a risky move on…
Thanks! You were so kind to reply with such a long comment :) really appreciated. I have also written down two or three shows I didn't reach before or that are waiting in my 'Plan to watch list', like 'Blueming'.
Regarding 'Ghost host ghost house', I have to admit I wasn't that convinced after watching the trailer (or maybe I just read the synopsis), but after the first two episodes I changed my mind. Anyway, if you wait for it to end, you can read the reviews and decide if it's worthy or not. :)
'On Cloud Nine' is actually difficult to follow, especially since episode 2 is clearly not in linear-time story telling after the first one. I have to admit I want to rewatch it so I can understand more things, but it was refreshing to watch a show not really understanding where it was going. As you said, the visuals were extraordinary: I adored every frame. The plot is probably a bit complicated, but it's definitely something different from all the other BLs (and other shows in general, if I have to be honest).
About Taiwan.
I completely agree with you. I started my BL journey with 'History 3: Trapped', and soon later I watched 'We Best Love', so I started very hyped and I decided I loved Taiwanese shows.
I agree with you on 'Papa & daddy': it's definitely not a BL story. Anyway, I expected a bit more from season 2, but maybe it aired at the same time with more hooking shows. Or maybe I wasn't in the right mood. I can relate when you wrote that you needed a specific kind of show to heal, or to adjust to your mood. I'm sad to hear what you had to go through this year, I hope you're better now. :)
I must admit that I usually LOVE everything I watch: if you scan my watchlist, you'll see I give unusual high ratings. I think I rate with my heart LOL. I usually rate a show based on how I felt, and perhaps that's the reason behind those high rates. And that's why I loved 'Plus and minus', 'About youth' and I'm loving 'My tooth your love'.
after 4 episodes and the man with purple shirt has yet to make an appearance, im so want to know whats his deal…
I'd like something like that. The last one I remeber is Mek's ex girlfriend in My Secret Love. Not that I remember other ex in the latest shows, but that would be refreshing ๐ค
Hi, I've just finished Roommates P304 and I've read your pretty accurate and analytic review. I agree with some things and disagree on others, but everything you said is very interesting.
Since you exposed the issue about highschool/college/uni set shows vs any other, I wanted to point out some titles that you didn't mention in your review because I'm interested in a quick comment. Or if you didn't watch them yet, I'd be happy to suggest new titles for you ๐
> On cloud nine | Thai It has a quite unique setting and talks about unusual issues.
> 180 degrees longitude passes through us | Thai I consider this a masterpiece, is like watching a theatre play, and it deals with more mature themes than most of BLs.
> The eclipse | Thai I know this is set in a high school, but I find this one of the best high school BLs ever, and the main couple rocks
> Ghost host ghost house | Thai (airing) This one also isn't set in school, and talking about ghosts, it involves not so common themes.
Then, I read your comment on 2022 Taiwanese BLs. I'm not saying you're wrong cause everyone has their own standards and things they like and dislike, I am just curious to know what you disliked about these three shows (if you watched them, obviously)
> Plus and minus | Taiwan > Papa & daddy | Taiwan > My tooth your love | Taiwan (airing) The last one is still airing, so it's difficult to comment it, but after a couple of episodes it had me completely hooked. The other two aren't masterpieces and has visible flaws, but in the end I found them cute and enjoyable.
I thank you if you'll ever dive in my weird request for your comments about these shows. If you don't want to reply, or want me to delete the comment, feel free to say it ๐ค
I wouldnโt say Wang is okay with it. I believe that Molโs manipulation and gaslighting has led Wang to live…
Yes, platonic has become a tricky word. But you're very good at analysing, cause you hit the mark again! ๐ it was indeed in the sense that their love wasn't based on lust, despite Wang's gazes sometimes went in that direction...
Thanks for replying, and don't worry about going off-topic: it was really interesting! ๐ค
I donโt understand how this drama does this!? This is a short drama - and when Iโm this invested in the leads…
It's amazing. I craved to watch this episode because I needed a good laugh today, and they served me with a sad side story. But I'm not upset because it felt so real, so in character, and the way they support him reflects the way the show helped us to overcome the sadness and find peace again.

This comment is extremely good ๐๐คฏ your analysis was quite deep and hits the point!
I add something starting from one of your sentences. You said In and Wang felt a genuine love. And I absolutely agree with you. But I'd add also the word 'platonic'. To me, they were destined to meet each other (probably someone could say they have been destined to each other), as a fundamental step to grow. Meeting In is so important to Wang, and probably he'll fully understand that only when he gets older. Their relationship is far more intimate then intertwining their bodies. The scene at the end when they hug is so deep because they are sharing their love, and it felt way more intimate than many kisses or steamy scenes I saw in shows. Like you described - it was a genuine love โค๏ธ
I really loved this show. It was so fantastic. The cast chemistry was so good and the characterisations were absolutely…
Yes, that 180 resolved without a scene with all of them talking, clearing things out and apologising. I didn't expect great things, I just needed a group hug and some guilty tears and few words of apologise.
I still think there's a scene missing somewhere between Chadok's plot twist and 'let's make a BL film'
Yes, it was completely opposite to the revelation about Akk behind the curse. We knew that, but the others didn't, so it was a huge impact on his friends, on the students, and on Akk too, because he was exposed and seen as the evil character behind Suppalo's curse.
On the other hand, we didn't expect Thua to be the one behind the account, continuing the curse threatens and everything he did , but nobody there felt actually shocked. Well, they were shocked but they forgot (or forgave) everything in a blink. And a scene in ep12 shows Akk calling Thua friend. But, friend what? He exposed you as the curse AND as gay/bi before you even accepted yourself. How could they return friends without a scene showing us them talking, clearing things out, and apologising??
- how much do you want viewers to cry?
- yes ๐ญ
This time, though, it was not youtube's fault. They cut a part in the YT episode, while it was uncut on Iqiyi

Itaewon tragedy was shocking ๐๐ผ
