Special Infectees get the additional ability to manipulate the transformation sure, but they're also in a continual battle over control with the monster within. There's also the possibility they may not have a monsterization ability that's all that useful.

Neo Humans on the other hand have the greater speed, agility, stamina, learning ability over a human, but they also have the added ability of not having to split their concentration / energy between the internal war for control with the monsterization and whatever else they're doing.

The ability to cocoon is pretty much a break even, sure they can come back from pretty much anything, but the slightest bit of damage to the cocoon while they're in it and they're dead. Great if you have a horde of monsters to protect you, otherwise that's one helluva vulnerability.

Personally I think Neo Humans have a slight edge over the Special Infectees and that's why they were afraid of them.

I don't think Special Infectees can become Neo Humans. Special Infectees create more of a symbiotic relationship with the monsterization where as Neo Humans are more like a hybridization of the human and monsterization.

Yeah terrible director which is a shame because they have a few actors under their management that are actually good. It's one of those cases where 99.9% of the time he needs to be the bank (producer) and let someone else be writer, director, etc.

Nope, can't do it, lasted five episodes and couldn't even bring myself to suffer through all of episode 6. Mos and Bank may actually be good actors, but until they switch to a better company and get better material we'll never know, so it'll continue to be just about their visuals. Which yes they're both good looking, but not enough to suffer through the material they're given to work with.

I had completely forgotten about that series until just now reading your message, yeah it does sound a bit alike now that you mention it.

The thing that still really irks me with this series is that they're competing for who wins the right to buy the restaurant for what 20 million Baht or something like that. They all look too young to have 20 million (550,000 USD) laying around so unless every one of them has a rich family willing to put up the cash, it just doesn't make sense.

Now I'm wondering if this is in the same Universe as "Taklee Genesis" and they needed to get that one done and out first and that's the reason for the long delay.
