Enough with the freaking one of the gays has to be a feminine damsel in distress bullshit, give us badass Ducky…
Pretty sure I'd never win the lotto so would never actually be able to make a series, but despite the not knowing enough about other cultures part to integrate into stories, the rest is rather easy.
Enough with the freaking one of the gays has to be a feminine damsel in distress bullshit, give us badass Ducky…
The role reversal and utter shock on Tew's face that sweet innocent turned badass Guy saved his ass would have been amazing to see.
Hell Guy didn't "judge a book by it's cover" when he found out about Tew's mafia life so why not play up that lesson both ways and show that someone can be soft, cute, and still a tough little badass at the same time.
So let me guess, Wahl realized he actually likes Guy after all these years because of course you don't realize you have feelings for someone until you've lost them, and now that everyone is single, Wahl is going to pursue Guy who will start to cave only to figure out why Tew broke up with him. Please please tell me this isn't going to be that freaking basic!!
Just give us Guy going all gangster badass and kicking Kenji's ass to save Tew and then throwing Tew on the bed and ravaging him!!
Enough with the freaking one of the gays has to be a feminine damsel in distress bullshit, give us badass Ducky Ping era already!!! lol
I'm just waiting for some crazy plot twist like if Sunshine uses all of the chances to erase someone then he becomes a Cupid Reaper as punishment and if he somehow falls in love with Kyu during the time and doesn't use them all then Kyu gets released from his punishment.
Kyu is the weapon being welded against his will, the one who feels everything his welder should, but doesn't because he is blinded by his own emotions. The silent screams shown only through his eyes are deafening.
This series isn't hooking me right from the start like "180 Degree..." did, but the actors and the exploration of the themes for now are more than enough to keep me going for the next few episodes at least. I think more than anything Sunshine's development in the next few episodes will really determine more how I feel about this series.
There were so many missteps in the way they laid out the first half of the series that there was no way it could ever recover from that, but damn these last few episodes have been good. Tor, Mix, and Toey finally get to the heavy emotional scenes and their delivery draws you into it almost enough to forget about all the missteps with the rest of the series. Teng has become little more than a footnote these past few episodes which has definitely been a strong point of the past few episodes. The beginning of the series never set up that emotional connection to his character, which was distanced even more with the choices he made during his time travel because it went from 0 to 100 without any explanation on why he decided to take the path he did. Ongsa's journey has been written and delivered much better and it created that emotional connection right from the start and has deepened it the more the series goes on.
I still don't regret watching it, yes it tried and failed at a lot of what it attempted, but the trio of actors and their performances have still made it worth watching. Hopefully despite this series the three of them will find more and better work in the future and hopefully maybe we'll even see them together again in another series where the material matches their talents.
Not season 2 please, unless, they are going to be back with some good plot
Yeah Poom is one of those guys that's low-key sexy cute in a way that absolutely no way makes rational sense, but then you just don't question it and go with it. lol
Not season 2 please, unless, they are going to be back with some good plot
Well hell Chalarm already wants to pound Tonkla just about every episode for something that comes out of his mouth....might as well pound him in the bedroom instead..... lol
Not season 2 please, unless, they are going to be back with some good plot
Hummm what could a season 2 be....
Sky defends T-Icon champ title, prepares for his solo debut, ends up Sky Chalarm Duo like TemMax and they hire Indy at the end of the season trying to lift him up since he hit rock bottom after everything that happened in season 1. Oh and of course don't forget Kim finally gets to live out her inner groupie dream and takes Max for a ride.... lol Oh and don't forget now that they're all one big happy family Sky's mom ends up working with Khongkhwan's family to finally run a successful restaurant.
and just for the plot twist that no one would see coming.... Chalarm and Tonkla are secretly dating and decide to reveal it at one of the SkyChalarm concerts... lol
------
joking aside, I do think the cast and writers of this series are more than good enough to be able to give it a proper season 2 that's just as good as season 1 has been.
Could it be that his new personality, his new acting values are due to the change of his co-star? I am firmly…
I wouldn't doubt that that plays at least some part in it. You can be amicable, hell even close friends with your working partner in real life, but that doesn't always mean you can translate that to working well together. If you're stuck with someone that you just can't work well off of each other then yeah it would effect everything overall.
WHAT IN THE SEVEN HELLS WERE THEY THINKING WITH EPISODE 12?!?!!?!!
We went an entire episode without Tonkla stepping in some mess or almost getting murdered because of his big mouth.....this is sooooo wrong on so many levels!!! lol
Man did Chalarm ever get piled on this episode, like Boss with Sky, no one else but Diamond could have played Chalarm and have it hit the way it does.
Kim pulled a verbal T.K.O. on Sky's mom the other day, now she really needs to go a few rounds with Best's mom, that or someone needs to order a few crates of A.C.M.E. anvils and pancake her good.
Two more episodes of this series aren't enough, we need a season 2.
Just binged to the latest ep and loving it. It's giving High School Musical meets Glee and then some. That being…
Per Cleveland Clinic:
"Researchers think high blood pressure is the most common cause of a rupture. Higher blood pressure makes blood push harder against blood vessel walls. Situations that can increase blood pressure and lead to a brain aneurysm rupture include: Ongoing stress or a sudden burst of anger or other strong emotion."
Well holy shit after all this time we've finally gotten a series with Ohm where his character actually has a personality again instead of acting like someone that had a lobotomy. lol Peach's personality is infectious and he's cracked Shin's hard outer shell hard and fast. Normally Ohm's characters don't start cracking until near the end of the series and it ends up being so subtle that the characters personality is way too one dimensional. I'll be honest, I've always thought the problem was Ohm considering it's been just about every character that he's played that has been like this, but if this series is any indication so far, then it really has been an issue of being type cast and the way he's been directed to portray the character.
I liked Ohm X Fluke together in "Until We Meet Again", but after that they played up Fluke's characters bein too fluffy cute, too damsel in destress, etc. when Fluke has proven he can play a little badass, play much deeper characters, and I never thought they were a good pairing in the series like that. So far Guide X Ohm have a much better dynamic together as Guide isn't the "cute fluffy type" and it gives the two of them a lot more to work off of.
Overall I think the entire cast of this series really play well off of each other, they've actually given Ohm's character more than one emotion, etc. and if it keeps up like this then it's a shame this series is listed as only being 6 episodes long. Hopefully if nothing else this series ends up being a turning point for Ohm where he continues to get characters that actually have some emotional depth to them.
Oh yay two more episodes releasing on 11/25 and 11/26 because apparently we didn't suffer enough through the first 8 dumpster fires. They should have released them on Halloween, then it would have at least had some sense resurrecting this trash after so long, or better yet left it worm food rotting in the ground.
I honestly thought the whole Buddy Line Y Animal project was dead and buried after the train wreck failure this was, but apparently not. Chalarm is funny and cute in his own way and would love to see the actor get a chance at his own main lead bl series, but please not with this project.
The whole episode every time they showed Yai (Gap) I kept getting distracted with how much he looks like Joss Way-ar Sangngern.
FINALLY we get a BL series with plenty of eye candy galore AND an actually good story (so far) instead of the recent slew of all eye candy and no substance.
