Sooo now that we definitively know that Thame Po and Only Boo are in the same universe I wonder if that's going to be an on-going theme with their music-centric series .
Mek mark pairing was actually good. Sadly i couldn't connect with junior mark in cherry magic nor here i am just…
I agree that Mek and Mark had potential as a good pairing, even if they didn't really have chemistry together since their series material really didn't give them the chance to build any.
I keep trying to think of who's with GMM that would be a good pairing for Mark and keep coming up blank. They really should have kept "Safe House" going for more seasons than what they did, it could have been a great way to see who gels with who and for the different actors to gain experience from each other on how to create chemistry together, etc.
Actually as oddball couple as it would be, I'd be curious to see how Mark and Lego would pair together, but no way that would ever happen because too many people would pitch a fit over the age gap.
Just one remark from me. Mark in High School Frenemy, probably because he wasn't paired with anyone, slayed the…
Actually screw it, I have Across The Sky downloaded so it's not like I can't finish watching that anytime, I'm going to start High School Frenemy right now....well okay not right now as in right this second, coffee meter is running on empty. lol
I so want the actors to play characters closer to their actual age! I want more adult shows and less school setting…
Not surprised you like Junior more, while they both aren't given roles to really show their talent, Junior at least has been given characters that are more expressive. Mark keeps getting indifferent, aloof, emotionally guarded characters so he doesn't really have the chance to be that expressive.
New is terrible at directing actors, especially when it comes to the emotional aspects of the characters. Mark's scenes when Wine was opening up to Fah and coming out to him should have shredded the audience and created a strong emotional bond with the character, which unfortunately definitely wasn't the case. I attribute that to New and his directing because it's too common amongst the series he directs to it being an issue with the various actors.

Yeah I still have to get around to watching that, actually might start it tonight after I'm done rewatching "Across The Sky" for the unhealthiest amount of times I've watched that. lol Although if he's as good in that as you say (which I don't doubt) it'll piss me off even more that it's just his BL roles that they give him junk for.
Perth and Santa could both be paired with a piece of cardboard and they'd find a way to create chemistry enough to think they were in love with that cardboard. Force and Book have played the same characters so many times now that they are the stainless steel cookie cutters in the cookie factory.
Mark and Junior are both talented actors, both being held back by a bad pairing and being cast in the wrong series/characters. Yes Mark still looks young enough to pull off a high schooler / freshman in college, but come on he's 27, give him a character with some depth and a mature storyline. They've got him acting like a helpless 15 year old in this. They pretty much did the same thing to him with his character Prince, give him a chance to really show off.
Junior again like Mark is late 20's yet given a much younger character and again one that's emotionally even younger than that. He's been sidelined as the goofy sidekick or so emotionally stunted and again not given a chance to really show off any real depth. Of course a bit part of that in this series is because of the unfortunate decision to have New direct this and while some of the other actors can act beyond his trainwreck of directing, others don't have that level of experience to.
I like both Mark and Junior, honestly more Mark than junior, but really wish the both of them would be given a better pairing and better material. Hell Mark and Mek had more chemistry and there wasn't any chemistry to be found there either. The both need a Neo in "Only Friends" style break out role that really lets them shine.
They're just so off in their own little world drunk on flirting with each other that they would have died from alcohol poisoning several times over by now. lol
I could watch another 100 episodes of this easily if every week there was some new antics from Mars and Po. Jun truly is the evil mastermind lurking in the shadows pulling the strings in everything. lol I figured they would have made Nano the mischievous one, but nope it's Jun all the way.
I have a feeling this is going to pull a "Wish You: Your Melody From My Heart" and Mars, Po, Mick, and Ming / Tae are going to strike off on their own after the Oner contract gets cancelled.
He's going to be regretting buying him next episode when he gets the first bill for the cavity deep cleaning now that he's not a rental anymore..... LOL
Soooo with the rate this is going, episode 4 will be the episode where they introduce whomever Moo is pining over since all these guys are pining over someone that's pining over someone else?!?!
By episode 7 there's either going to be a flash flood warning from all the tears or it's going to be one sticky clusterfuck.... lol
Every episode I ask myself how the characters played by Keen, Aun, Ashi and Louis will fit into this story. The…
It could be that they will be reprising their roles from "Only Boo" in a shared universe type of way and the credits / MDL cast list just isn't reflecting that.
This whole shared universe needed to be set up as a sci-fi first and BL secondary. What they should have done was something akin to the brain scanning in the Korean Movie "Jung_E" and those acted like the large language models that are used to train AI. That would have set up a much more believable scenario for the "quirk" in their programming, being human-like emotions.
Robots / AI awakening to consciousness and/or emotions isn't exactly a new story, but there's so many better ways to do it than what's been done so far in this shared universe. Hell if any of the prototype line was going to awaken to emotions first it probably would have been Immortal 2 aka the love bot prototype.
