I'd say no. he's playing are different character here but I can't feel it. imho I don't get why they're still paired. For me there's not enough chemistry between them.

it only tries being a comedy. it's not funny. the potential for funny banter is huge but it's stiff. the theme would better go with more tension between the 2. maybe they'll improve.

I just finished Manner of Death and in comparison this Dare you to Death is not it.
I like Joong but the others aren't convincing me. they try to make it funny with the silly sound effects. the long scenes when they get closer to each other are cringe. I don't feel chemistry. turn off your brain unless you like to wonder how you can study law overseas but practice it at home. I'll wait till all episodes are out and binge it fast.

where did the plot go? where is the pace and energy of the first episodes? they come to his home country and it collapses. so, he does look cute in ruffles and I like all couples... but it's not saving the drama.
