they threw a lot of facts together and created a new story line with it. so it's all more or less true but it didn't happen like this.

I get that the story is too long and it must be condensed, so they throw a lot of scenes and facts together, but this kiss? there was a drunken short kiss in the novel on graduation day but how can this be topped now with the real deal? and that dramatic scene when he smashes the cup in front of the gang? unlikely for Chusan to act like that and embarrassing Liuyi in front of his gang. especially before they even are a thing. and when do we learn about Liuyi and his inner conflicts? when does the audience understand why he friend zones Chusan? all the time the focus on Chusan's horny thoughts. it's getting old. they follow standard story telling now. they rushed a romantic scene to justify a break up phase.

no and yes. obviously the young one wants to get closer to the dad of the other guy. in the novel the junior officer works in the anti corruption department and he suspects the dad...

Chusan in the novel doesn't know he's adopted, Liuyi tells him 🙈😅 He doesn't want to be his underling, he wants to be an equal, his partner. nothing to do with his background.

watch it for the aesthetics, it's like a chic perfume advertisement. some episode are boring, dragged out. they could have shortened it into a mini or vertical drama. they rushed the ending. for better understanding read the novel on chrysanthemum garden. and the series is on gagaoolala, too.

just started it and wonder: ABO universe?! and cool action scenes. hope this wild ride will continue
