and for a while chusan is "dating" a girl to make his father happy but there's no real separation arc. the novel is not following typical love story clichés. there are phases were they aren't together but not really separated either. it's more like a long-distance relationship due to circumstances and parallel lifes. the biggest obstacle is for both agreeing to their motivations and finally working together to fulfill each others dream.
