It really is quite bad. I was going to write a review but didn't know where to start. I don't get the 7.9 rating - nor do I get the obsession with the two leads. Each to his own I guess...

I have hopes for this series but who comes up with these titles? Moonlight chicken?? 😄Anyway, not looking forward to First's character being cheated on. I'm sorry to all Earth fans out there, but I mean First is gorgeous and if he was your man you just wouldn't be cheating on him! Well, I wouldn't anyway 😄

I'm very impressed. His acting keeps getting better and better, especially with good direction from decent directors. Gorgeous and talented.! You can see he puts the work in and it shows in his improvement - unlike some others who seem to be coasting on looks alone (I won't mention names as it'll just start a war...). He's underrated and definitely needs more roles!

No parents certainly aren’t always right, as a gay person I’ve learnt that the hard way. What tends to bug me the most about crazy fans is their willingness to overlook any issues with a show because it doesn’t fit in with their obsession over a particular actor or ship. 2gether in my view was terrible. Season 2 was an improvement but it’s hard to polish a turd. I really don’t get the obsession with that show. Terrible acting and a completely incoherent storyline.

Interesting review and interesting take on the whole eastern vs western culture thing. I don't bother with crazy fans on social media so wasn't aware there was an ongoing battle about this (what a ridiculous thing anyway). Like you I find the whole putting parents on pedestal aspect of many Asian cultures difficult to absorb. I'm not saying it's wrong or right, it's just not a thing where I live or grew up - at least not in the same way, and parents don't really have those expectations of their kids either. As a westerner watching some of these shows I do kind of sometimes think: "what the actual f**k you're a grown man just live your f*****g life and tell your parents to p**s off if they don't like it!". It's tricky though as cultures are ingrained in our psyche and they will inevitably be portrayed in the dramas of each country, and Thailand is quite a conservative country in that way. So I do try and ignore those aspects (for better or worse) as they can influence how you perceive a show.

Going back to the online wars - comments from crazy fans online on any social media platform are more toxic than nuclear waste. You're better off just staying away, watching the show and make up your own mind as they can seriously affect your perception of it. I personally enjoyed the relationship between Pat & Pran on BBS. Did I like everything about it? Nope. Was it the most original storyline? Not quite. But it was a vast improvement to some of the other BL shows produced over the years. Hopefully they can keep this up.

Mix is one of those people who obviously has a natural talent for acting (unlike some others which I won't name...). I can't believe that 1000stars was his first proper acting job. He does a phenomenal job bringing Tian to life and takes the viewer on an emotional roller coaster. He steals every single scene and makes you fall in love with the character. I really do hope he is proud of his work and that he is given more opportunities.
