Well, just because it's been written for him doesn't mean it will end up being right for him. If that is the case then he's still been miscast. This isn't a reflection on him or his skills, miscasting happens even at big studios and with experienced actors. Stuart Townsend was supposed to the play the role of Aragorn in the Lord of the rings films, but the studio realised at the start of filming that it didn't work as he looked too young for the part (Aragorn is supposed to be 80 years old). He was replaced by Viggo Mortensen. Stuart Townsend was miscast. These things happen. The problem here is they wanted/needed the EarthMix combo regardless of whether it worked or not. And I'm not convinced it does.

He's about the only thing left that might save this series for me!

I disagree. I think he's been terribly miscast in this, and as a result will get a lot of criticism for something that may not have been his fault.

Your inclination regarding age would be incorrect - certainly in my case. The storyline and premise may be fine (we don’t know yet as it’s only been two episodes), but the delivery is somewhat lacking so far in my view.

Yeah you might be right. It's a shame though because there is some talent there, and some of them do take acting more seriously and want to improve (and have improved).

I'm somewhat inclined to agree. A couple of episodes in and the acting has been a little bit stiff. I hope things pick up as this was supposed to be one of the more anticipated series this year. I find myself skipping forward sometimes.

Representation of sexual and/or other minorities is quite shocking on my of these series. I started watching this and dropped it after the first episode. It was so cringey and over the top...

This series is good if you ever have trouble sleeping. Biggest snoozefest there is! Zzzzzzzz

I agree. Personally I've never cheated on my boyfriend and I don't quite get the point in it. If you want to be with another person rather than the person you're currently with then fine, break up and do your thing. Don't go behind the back of the other person. Cheating is an extremely selfish thing to do. And why on earth would you want to cheat on First anyway? I mean, the boy is flawless! That's going to be my gripe on this series 😂

It’s a mistake but it’s a rather glaring one. My worry is that mistakes like these tend to be a sign of things being rushed. GMMTV is spewing out shows at the minute which is great but it shouldn’t be at the expense of quality. Anyway, let’s wait and see.

Hm clutching at straws here I’m afraid. I think it’s an oversight on their part, and an unnecessary one at that.

Hopefully it won’t extend to the rest of the script…
