Your first paragraph is quite an imaginative negative generalization. Actually, more than 50% of the Chinese people support same-sex marriage. China has the highest LGBTQ population in the world. China decriminalized homosexuality in 1997 before most states in the US (states are still criminalized in the US). BLs are not specifically targeted in China, they censor all dramas and films so children can watch them.
