I really hope we have a very happy ending. Not just them together but I would really love a big wedding. I haven't…
My father watches Kdramas with me on and off but gets annoyed that he never gets to see a wedding. He's all for that

I really hated YHJ's b1tch1n3ss throughout the first 75% of the episode. I mean, everything LJH was doing for…
I just really want D-bag Dr. Dad to get a severe beating or something for all the problems he's caused. He clearly has his own mental issues or something because he can't realize how reprehensible his behavior is and just blows it off all the time. And the comment he made about how he doesn't respect his son as a real doctor just blew me away with how awful he is.

Just wanted to comment that I'm really glad his friend Tae Eun's character was written this way. In the beginning,…
I agree that I really like how they wrote the character of Tae Eun. I think he was important to both leads development because he's the only one who knew the full story on both ends. Even the sister didn't know Jeong Hoon was the bf of Ha-Jin's bestie.
I also love how he fights his dad and his evil plan to protect his "brother". I think he sees Jeong Hoon as more of family than he does his own dad. Plus the level of comfort Tae Eun shows in crashing at his house rather than his own shows such a deep brotherly relationship.

Shin Jae and Luna would make an explosive couple lol Perhaps he was destined to Luna and not Tae Eul
I usually watch shows over as well if I really like them or really enjoyed certain scenes. For instance I really enjoyed all of WDH’s scenes today so I watched them over.

Oh I'm not watching it multiple times to understand it… I am watching it multiple times because I watch it by myself and then my parents want to watch it later. So it's kind of helpful that I catch things I missed the first time. As for the shadows I wonder if they did that purposefully because of the split screen that we're supposed to notice/not notice… I get with the writers were trying to do but it could've been done better
On The King: Eternal Monarch May 9, 2020
Episode 7 bored me to the point where I almost gave up on the show. Even the moment where Jo Yeong and Jo Eun Seop Met was not as great as I thought it would be- but ohhhhhh did the writers make up for it in Episode 8 with the alley fight scene and Yeong pretending to be Eun Seop. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's the same actor obviously – but the fact that he's having to pretend to be Yeong pretending to be Eun Sure just shows how good of an actor he is. That's why I loved Lee Gon's reaction to it. And The conversation they had in the hotel after. Oddly enough Lee Gon didn't seem to notice that the mole is missing but whatever.

To be honest I was wondering about it myself till I watched it a second time and saw in that scene the differences between the two roads as they cross paths if you look carefully you can see there is a train track in her road but not in his.

No, She didn't see him in the world. That was a trick of the camera to make you think they were in the same place but if you watch carefully when she's crossing the road there is track and when he's crossing the road there is no track- it's because that's her Shin-Jae from ROK not the Kingdom version that we now know had been switched as a little boy. Also it makes sense as to why he's been having really strange nightmares that the doctor kept mentioning but they never said what the nightmares were about. I'm guessing it has something to do with his childhood in the kingdom.

Shin Jae twist is the thing you can never expect no matter how much your theory must have worked till now. Like…
Actually I called this twist early on. Especially when they're showing everyone else is doppelgängers but not his from the kingdom… It's because he isn't in the kingdom anymore. Personally I think he's the hidden illegitimate son of Lee Rim and was brought over to take place of the other kid who was in a coma and I'm guessing actually died but his parents think it's him.

And bringing her back to life when she dies??
Are you sure that was his mom in the car? Because she was standing next to him at the cemetery he would've noticed that wouldn't he? I'm pretty sure that was Lee Gon's doppelgänger mom. But again I still don't understand why they're keeping her alive.
I figured out early on that Shin-Jae Was from the kingdom and have been brought over for some reason as a child. And it would make sense that he doesn't really remember too much of it. But a lot of the blanks for filled in today. Of course I still think he is the hidden illegitimate son of Lee Rim and was brought over by his father for some master plan that he has no clue about.

I could be a possibility, because two the same people can't live in one reality. And I don't think so she can…
I've wondered about the title myself. I don't think he's immortal, but maybe he does discover time travel once the flute is put back together and he travels to different timelines where he is king. Therefore he's eternally the king. Hmmmmm

Title Fix You
who came from the '10 kdramas to watch may 2020' vid !!
That’s how I found out about the show. But did they just change the title? Because I swear it had another title in my watchlist.

Yi Rim is a mastermind so I can totally believe it was planned. I don't know what he's going to do with the doppelgänger switch but nothing good

I don't know if you noticed when Jo Yeong was looking at the photos on her camera there mostly of him of course… But the fourth photo is Yi Rim. Jo Yeong doesn't show much of a reaction but, he does request the photos so I'm sure he noticed who was in it.

Would you like to know some things that I noticed today when my parents were re-watching episode two? It has to do with the photographs Seung Ah took at the boat race... granted you may have already noticed it yourself.

So many unanswered questions that they have 10 episodes to answer. I hope they don't wait until the final five minutes of the final episode to answer them

I'm not sure about the aging thing. Because while Yi Rim has not aged Yi Gon has aged. And he's had the flute on him this whole time he just didn't know it until recently. I think Yi Rim really has been hiding out in that space between the two worlds and only comes out when he needs to do something in one of the two worlds. That being said, I do think that if the flute is put back together it can mess with time.

See I wonder about that because time does flow the same. It's the same day in both worlds. However that being said the space between the two worlds nothing changes. Do you think it's possible he spends most of his time there? And just pops into the two worlds when he wants?
