I'm sure she will do something against the king. Perhaps Yi Rim will try to use her in his plot to kill the king. But I'm hoping even if she's tempted to gain more power she will genuinely like Yi Gon and not help his evil uncle in the end.

Isn't that what "I take you as my wife, the Queen" means? I mean if King's can make decrees then they're all married up even if she didn't agree. Haha

Same here. When they pop up on my YouTube feed I can't help but watch them. It seemed real genuine that I forget they were supposed to be against each other.

No, what was out of place was Yi Gon's comment about having her stay in his bedroom.. hit the breaks boy. Then again he basically proposed at the end of Episode 2.

Granted I did love Goblin, but mostly because of the Bromance between Goblin and Grim Reaper.

Hahaha I love that analogy. To be honest I can see it from Yi Gon's perspective because he has had that ID card for so long and built up this idea of what she was like. But it seems to fast for Tae Eul so I'm glad she was really awkward when he kissed her. Kind of like she was attracted to him but also realized it wasn't a normal situation.

Well since Yi Gon's doppelgänger died as a little boy in Tae Eul's world it would make sense for him to go to her world. However, he's never going to give up his Kingdom and leave them without a leader.

I don't think it's her who's fallen so fast- it's him. But he's been dreaming of her for 25 years even though he didn't actually know what she's like. He even made the comment about "thinking of being her to his place many times". But it's like he's having this intense relationship and she's just going along for the ride

I am enjoying the show as a whole, though I have many "eye rolling" or "scratching my head" moments each episode. But I think that's what makes a good show. Not that it doesn't have cliche or cringe worthy moments, or maybe pushes boundaries a little. But that it has enough intriguing moments that makes you want to know what the writers are going to come up with next. Or how will they explain something later.

Hmmmm... that is very interesting that people would call it a Goblin Jr. Sure, it has the same writer, female lead, and a fantasy genre, yet it's not the same really.
Goblin wasn't from a different world so much as a different time. Although, in both shows the female lead finds herself drawn to the male lead even though it's unconventional. But I for one would root for a guy from a different world who's only 3 years older than his girl, rather than a guy who's 900 years older haha.

Disappointed in the show or that there are some who don't like it? I'm not surprised there are those who don't like it. I like the show but even I find fault with certain aspects.

I agree with you on your analysis of the Prime Minister. However, I worry that the production team is going to make her very unlikable as a foil for Tae Eul. I know the role of the second leads are always to be "not rooted for" but I don't like the idea of using her power to make her seem inhuman. We'll see what they do.

While I wasn't totally surprised by the kiss, I admit it was awkwardly done. Granted I personally think it was done that way as a choice by the production team. I in my personal opinion I think they're trying to show that he is all in with this because he's basically been in love with her his whole life and had this imaginary romance with her in his head. Whereas she is just now getting into this and is unsure of everything. Hence the reason she had her eyes open the whole time.

A friend of mine on here and myself have a running thread in our message inbox full of theories for the show. We are both enjoying the show and love dissecting it after every episode. There are things that bug me a little but overall I like it.

Wait, just because the two main actors are serving in the military and can’t promote the show it might get dropped? Geez, you’d think they’d take this as a chance to keep those to relevant with the audience by putting it out there. Sure, The fans would want to see the actors but still it shouldn’t be shelved.
