I can definitely see and understand your frustration. I know it’s unlikely for this production to have another season as KDramas very rarely do that. But maybe they will do something on a smaller scale later to rectify the situation? I think there are enough fans who weren’t satisfied with that ending. Of course I remember one of my favorite American shows a few years back finally had the main characters marry and about three episodes later they killed off the guy because the actor wanted to leave the show. There was no warning and the fan reaction was so bad that the main actors had to have a small press conference about it the next day.

As this is only a 16 episode drama and I think they push the envelope I have an almost 2 hour finale I think this is the best we could do. If this was American TV there would be 17 seasons like freaking Grey’s Anatomy that will never end and then all would be happy. But that’s not how they do it over there so I’m gonna accept this and be happy with it because it could’ve ended a lot differently

I have been telling another person on this list that I kept thinking of her other show “my love from the star”because of the ending to that show (which I won’t say in case no one here has watched). But I agree with you that while it was in the back of my mind I didn’t fully think oh yeah two weeks here every year. But I like that the both of them are living their lives happily The rest of the year not just going through the motions. I think that is what he really wanted for her.

To be honest I was not a fan of Seung Jun at first but man having him going to that building literally with guns blazing to protect his woman. Regardless of whether he lives or dies (though I prefer alive) he gets my vote as a hero. Also, she clearly loves him back as she is wearing his ring not only in that moment but in the ep 16 preview. Okay the NIS scenes made me laugh so much “you need an analysis for that?! It’s a clear as day!” I also loved the cctv scenes showing to them just how awesome RJH is to Seri. And I chuckled at his reaction to the guys walking by her.

In the episode 13 preview they showed the scene of all the guys in their suits and her clapping her hands. But that was not shown in absolute 13. It was shown in episode 14. It was alluded to an episode 13 but never shown. Which makes me think that the scene of him in the field will obviously since there’s only one episode left B in that other episode. I have yet to see any scenes shown in a preview that was not somehow put into the show.

All I got from it this early in the morning is that he made sure she was completely under the umbrella and part of himself was uncovered to accomplish this. To me this shows he will do anything to keep her safe even put himself “in harms way” but we already know that about his character. I haven’t seen “Something in the Rain” but I too wondered if that scene was a nod to something in that drama.
