For me, a masterpiece is a drama that makes you cry no matter how hard you try to hold your tears in. And a drama that has such a meaningful sad ending shouldn’t have been spoiled with « fantasy afterlife reunion ». Not a big fan of the last scene. I still loved it though. A masterpiece.
Ep 17: The sadness was good, I was enjoying it and crying. Felt nice 😂 but the last minutes felt a little bit disappointing as they made it a little bit too happy. The reunion after death was unnecessary. I know they have the same reunion in the book, however, in the book Deok Im is more cruel to Lee San and doesn’t confess her feelings as she did in the drama when she was dying (If I didn’t love you I would have ran away = I love you). Therefore, she makes us doubt in the novel if she really did love him (or did she love him as much as he loved her), but in the drama it’s made quiet obvious that she does and she even says it. So the happy reunion scene was unnecessary or at least too long. They should have made it shorter to keep that nice sad feeling that was built up during the whole half of the episode. For me, a masterpiece is a drama that makes you cry no matter how hard you try to hold your tears in. And a drama that has such a meaningful sad ending shouldn’t have been spoiled with « fantasy afterlife reunion ». I still loved it. RSC is one of the few dramas that I will never forget. I waited so long for a drama like this one. And I’m so happy they made such a good sageuk but sad as well because now I have to wait till they make another masterpiece like this one.
Why did we have 2 episodes today? And why are they releasing two episodes on the 1st and not as usual 1 per day? Also, it’s so strange to see a drama with 17 episodes instead of 14 or 16 or 20 … 😂
Someone here recommended a website, it was kiss something… It wasn’t kissasian, I think it was a shorter name. I watched on that website and it was a black design. Can someone remind me which website it was?😭 I erased my history and lost it..
Any crime/thriller lovers here to recommend me something similar to Chimera? A KDrama with a good plot, no boring scenes and all that? I don’t usually watch this kind of tvshows, I’m more into historical and romance but I really enjoyed Chimera a lot so I’d love sth similar. Thank you!
Ah my sadistic friend. You are just like me. Welcome to the darkness...On a serious note, that's one thing I like…
Haha 😂 No but I remember Empress Ki, Hwang Jini, Jang Ok Jung as such good sageuks because of the heartbreaking endings they had. I want this one to have an ending that will make it hard for me to hold my tears 😁😁
