Seeing the recent bombardment of negative reviews below, I'm seriously surprised Vincenzo is still at a 9.0 overall rating, really expected it to drop quickly after the ending.
How good was Taecyeon in this? Never been a fan of his acting before, some people are criticizing his acting in…
Taecyeon has improved a lot as an actor, and is able to hold out in some of his scenes. Still, he's not as good as some of the other cast. I think what other comments mean is that the way he played his character ended up being very charismatic and interesting. His character is very appealing, and you can be rest assured that his acting doesn't affect your viewership, so regardless it wasn't a debatable factor, you know?
I mean, he should be praised for bringing it to life. I don't see a lot of comments criticizing him. As for how good, that is a subjective point. But I would say it's not something to worry about. It's good enough.
are all the viewers from the webtoon because almost all seems to comparing this to the webtoon? I hope they change…
Nope, I ended up following the webtoon after the first episode of this show so I could go see the source material. Oh, usually I see webtoon/book/comic fans annoyed when the show adapts it far from the source material. That's a new. But I haven't gone far into the webtoon so I guess I'm not bored following it.
I’m wondering why Nabi didn’t delete the photo of her shitty ex lol
Well, we know she has attachment problems. (Look at how long she didn’t wash off the marker tattoo Jae-Eon drew for her even under the knowledge that it was drawn on other photos’ arms as well and not something special!)
On the WEBTOON app (Green logo, white speech bubble), on app store-its 10 episodes you can read in a row but then…
Well, you either buy them with real money (If you press next episode when you're gone on your daily pass for that story it'll auto-pop up for you to head towards the coin shop) or they'll have events (there are pop-ups when entering the app or on the headbar, which will have events such as reading 20 episodes total from three selective featured stories.) You're not in luck though, they just finished one last week and I think there won't be one until maybe next month.
They're making a lot of Korean remakes of famous Western shows. I last heard about the remake of Money Heist. Hope they adapt it to the Korean culture well. I wonder if they'll make the Korean title so direct, though.
just something I have noticed over time. Why is it that in cdrama/kdrama, it is difficult to get a true romance/kissing…
'Love is Sweet' and the recent 'The Day of Becoming You' may be up your alley. Oh, and 'Love Scenery'. I don't know plot-wise for the latter two, but the first has an okay plot and food chemistry. They're all modern setting though.
I'm cracking up as this drama has a 2.9/10 rating on Douban. Of course, there are other factors that caused lower ratings in China, but still, the contrast is funny.
Anyways, those who enjoy the drama, keep enjoying it.
Congratulations to SBS. Excited for 'Lovers of the Red Sky'-I trust Kim Young Young's work haha, and also 'Now We are Breaking Up', as I haven't seen a SHK drama yet.
Hello. I started watching this drama, and I got hooked. I heard the webtoon of this is already finished. Does…
On the WEBTOON app (Green logo, white speech bubble), on app store-its 10 episodes you can read in a row but then afterwards it's one episode a day, or you can fast-pass with coins, which you can get by events Webtoon has once in a while, or buy with real money.
Fun to see characters that aren’t fantastical perfect caricatures with minuscule flaws, but realism doesn’t give people a free pass. Sometimes I felt like the drama was giving muddy signals with Nabi’s opinions even when she narrates a lot, but now it seems to show that she’s quite aware of her actions and is self-conscious, though in the end her attraction to Jae-Eon overcomes her. So I guess it’s different from the initially assumed one-sided predatory concept-at least I feel Jae-Eon has made his initial character clear and Na-Bi knows it (plus her observations, which are true)- slightly muddy with the whole ‘trust’ thing at the end. Yeah, though, part of the whole boundaries clear is also a clear out for not having responsibility, but at the same time it seems like it’s not going down that path right now? I feel like the drama is showing that Jae-Eon is treating her differently from his other partners.
Haven’t caught up well with the webtoon so I still don’t know what his deal is with butterflies, but I was just thinking-if it someone saying those lines about butterflies, or would feel so weird and random-you’ve got to be handsome and look super serious haha.
With how it’s going, it seems Jae-Eon is made out to be better from his webtoon counterpart. I have no idea what direction they’re going to bring this relationship into.
Hope they don’t mislead the audience down Sol’s story.
More concerned about Bitna then everyone else this episode.
I garner from the comments that the biggest pull-in or at least consensus for the theme of this drama is realism, right?
Again, kudos to the director for some amazing shots.
Regardless of the drama’s quality, the OSTs he sings are always something to look forward to! Wish him well on his path forward. Thanks for the detailed article too!
It’s not a bad rating. 8.2 is actually very good & high. It’s not reaching a 9 but it’s is not a 3 lol.
Maybe with K-Dramas that's the standard you say? I think most people on MDL watch K-Dramas anyways. I watch mostly C-Dramas and although I think the MDL raters are already very, very lenient, getting 8+ is like, a great thing. Usually in the 7 ranges.

Not for everyone, chill
It’s a fun drama to watch
Just fun
