I have a question for those who had seen the Japanese movies ''The werewolf game''.
Since in the Japanese movies, the citizens were never forced to sleep, they were just ordered to stay in their rooms, do u think they could have survived if they fought back? I mean, I can count on my fingers how many fought back. OR do u think the mastermind would view this as going against the rules, thus eliminating them?
I wonder how they decide who is in charge of killing the citizens? Like as a mafia can you decide not to kill…
Hard to say, we do not know those rules for this drama. In the classic game, mafia has to decide together who to kill. They can also decide not to kill anyone. In classic game they also do not have designated nights for the killings - they kill together.
Majority of the students know how to play mafia game, only few (the bullies) were shown to not know the game.…
Basically, the game is divided into day and night.
At day, everyone discusses who might be the werewolf (originally it is called ''Ultimate Werewolf'' or ''One night werewolf''). There is always a voting for someone. That someone is on ''trial'' and needs to defend themselves. Based on their defense, others will vote for KILL or NOT KILL. If the person on trial managed to make good points, majority of people will vote for NOT KILL aka no one would be eliminated at day. Than comes the night and that's when the fun begins, because that's when the special cards use their powers, so doctor can save someone from killing, seer can sneak at other's card and see their identity, assassin can kill whoever they want of their choosing etc. The night may end with werewolves killing someone (they cannot kill multiple people, they gotta agree on only one) or they might not kill anyone and the game continues to a new day. The outcome of game totally depends on the cards which are in the play. It is totally possible for assassin (who is on the villager team) to kill someone at night and that someone might be a werewolf.
You might be wondering what happens if the voting at day is suddenly even, well than the voting randomizes. Still, one of the chosen has to attend a trial.
I think the girl who died in Ep 6(the gf) was the doctor. this matches- up with how she previously used her skill…
i also doubt there are more doctors, or other duplicate roles. in normal game you can save yourself as a doctor, but i am currently watching Japanese movies ''The werewolf game'' and the doctor is forbidden to save themselves.
I am also confused about the role of the police. In episode 2 a police identified a mafia and that mafia was killed…
Now, this is very interesting. In typical mafia game, mafia know who their team-mates are. We got two options. 1. In this game, mafia members know each other and still can kill each other. 2. Or mafia members do not know who the other mafia members are and will only know who they killed at the announcement.

It sounds wrong, but as you said, they are equal.
Some words have negative feeling to them, so that's why.
And we gotta remember that they changed some crucial rules, like votes cannot be tied and that mafia has to kill someone always at night.

They haven't announced it for real :)
